Help me finish this page.

Kill Icon

I noticed that the hook does damage upon hitting an enemy. Could someone test what it shows in the kill feed? MathaMeticulous (talk) 06:25, 23 December 2014 (PST)

I dont think it has a kill icon. Design one and you could get a hat or something... ScottishDrunkard (talk) 06:57, 23 December 2014 (PST)
The kill icon is the skull, like any default kill icon, like the Bat Outta Hell, but I don't know how to add it to the infobox. Dogman15 (talk) 16:25, 1 January 2015 (PST)

Enabling

How do I enable this on a server? Is there a command, and if so, can you please tell me? Mattthedalek (talk) 13:22, 4 December 2015 (PST)

Ahhh.. Please, talk page is only for useful things for the page, not for personal questions. But here's the command:
tf_grapplinghook_enable 1. Have fun. — The preceding assigned comment was added by Tark {Finish Him!Contribs} 13:25, 4 December 2015 (PST)

Exploit

I think there is still an exploit. I don't know if it was patched or not. I didn't see anything about it. If an engineer equipping a Rescue Ranger, he can rapidly heal his buildings non-stop. Why? I think that Valve used the same bolt property on the Rescue Ranger and the Grappling Hook. I have seen it happen on YouTube. Delfy built a level 3 sentry and it survived 3 heavies at the same time. Let me know if it is existing. I currently don't have the time to check right now. I was planning to add this to the Bugs section here but I wasn't positive if it still exists. Possible Weapon Range

I’ve noticed while using the Grappling Hook in a server that enables it that the weapon seems to have a maximum range, but this is not mentioned on the wiki page here. Should this be added, or is it a bug or set by the server? Da703337 (talk) 08:24, 11 September 2022 (UTC)

From what I remember, it never had a maximum range (with the exception of the skybox) when on Valve servers but it may be worth looking into. Did you play on any official mannpower maps or was it a non-mannpower map?
