The 119 Medals were added as part of the 119th Update to commemorate players of Team Fortress 2. They consist of: -

Medal Notes
Mercenary
Mercenary
  • The Mercenary Badge is awarded to players who purchased and played Team Fortress 2 more than a year after its initial release.
  • This item was originally named the Weekend Warrior but was changed because it suggested that the players only played on weekends and thus being hurtful to some "hardcore" Players.
Soldier of Fortune
Soldier of Fortune
  • The Soldier of Fortune is awarded to players who purchased and played Team Fortress 2 three months to a year after its initial release.
Grizzled Veteran
Grizzled Veteran
  • The Grizzled Veteran is awarded to players who bought and played Team Fortress 2 within 3 months of its initial release.
Primeval Warrior
Primeval Warrior
  • The Primeval Warrior was awarded to players who bought and played Team Fortress 2 during the pre-game release beta-testing phase.
  • The Primeval Warrior was added momentarily after the update.
  • Originally, players who participated in the beta got the Grizzled Veteran. When the Primeval Warrior was added, in the May 5, 2010 Patch, the original medals of those eligible were changed to reflect this.
