The Hero's Hachimaki is a promotional headwear item for the Soldier. It is a team-colored headband featuring a white circle and star design in the center. The Soldier wears the Hero's Hachimaki over his eyes, a design styled after the feature character of the game Homefront.

Players who pre-purchased Homefront on Steam before March 15, 2011, were awarded with a Genuine quality version of this item. Further availability of this item is unknown at this time.

  • The design features the red star of Communism from the Template:W, the main antagonist in Homefront.
  • Homefront was unavailable for pre-purchase on Steam in the United Kingdom. Any attempt to pre-purchase it displayed an error.[1] According to an e-mail from Robin Walker, Valve was considering ways to ensure players from the UK could obtain the item.[2] Ultimately, nothing was done and the item remained region specific.
