Comics are short stories that offer insight to the world of Team Fortress 2, as seen through the eyes of mercenaries, their boss, and the colorful characters that make up their adventures.

The story of Team Fortress 2 boasts a very loose continuity. Though comics serve to explain things such as how a class got a new weapon, or who exactly is recording the Meet the Team videos, some events may conflict each other.

WAR! Update

Four short, episodic comics were released daily throughout the WAR! Update to archive the great battle fought between the Soldier and the Demoman.

The Administrator - A background check reveals that an unfortunate alliance has been made.

Saxton Hale - A day in the life of Mann Co. president Saxton Hale! Watch as he beats up hippies!

Demoman - The Demoman's day off is interrupted when he is presented with an offer he can't refuse.

Soldier - As the Administrator pushes her plan forward, the Soldier finds out he was ultimately betrayed.

Once the WAR! update was released, all 4 comics were merged into one long comic, although the URLs stayed the same.

The Insult That Made a "Jarate Master" Out of Sniper was included in Day 7 of the Sniper vs. Spy Update.

Poopy Joe is found through clicking the words "poor monkey." on page 10 in the WAR! comic.

The Last Will and Testament of Zepheniah Mann - Originally found by clicking "Zepheniah Mann" on the tombstone on the Halloween Special page. Also found by clicking the "*See issue #97" block on page 4 of Loose Canon.

The Insult That Made a "Jarate Master" Out of Sniper marked the first appearance of Saxton Hale. At the time, Saxton Hale was a one-shot gag. He proved popular with the community, and eventually grew in to the mascot of the game he is today.
