Heavy Fire Glitch hasn't been fixed
As of today, the Heavy fire glitch is still glitched. Got it 20 minutes ago, though I didn't have my Screenshot key bound when I got it. Animalbrad 19:46, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
New glitch involving the Sharpened Volcano Fragment
Everytime I kill someone with a Flamethrower, it shows the kill icon as being whatever melee weapon I have equipped. Even when I switched from the Fragment to the Powerjack, and flamed someone to death with the flamethrower, the kill icon still displayed the Powerjack. Of course, this is happening to me on my server, and I happen to be using a modified Flamethrower, via the Give Weapon plugin, but regardless, the custom flamethrower shares no similar attributes with the Sharpened Volcano Fragment. Anyone else experiencing this? 404 User Not Found 00:51, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
- After burn kill icons use the flamethrower of the users loadout killicon. Valve just needs to alter to code, and thats a bug on the Sharpened Volcano Fragment page. :D 00:53, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
I've already documented this in the Flamethrower page. i-ghost 00:58, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
I've noticed that upon being hit by the Scout's baseball, or being spooked by the Ghost/HHH, if you hold the fire button, you can continue hearing the whirring (but not the actual firing), and the gun will start firing immediately after the stun period ends without having to be spun up again. Console + Backspace problem after alt tabbing (or equivalent)
With TF2 running - Alt Tab to desktop then return to TF2 by maximizing TF2. The bug is that after this occurs, you can no longer open the console command via the default "`" (even with console enabled in options). The console command will stay open if it's already open but if you closed it and want to open it, you cannot do it after alt tabbing. The second issue related to this is you can no longer use the "Backspace" key to delete text. Has anyone else encountered this glitch? This seems to be a HL2 engine bug than TF2 specific though. - Okay this is odd. I think this bug only occurs by using the "Right Alt" key + "Tab" instead of "Left Alt" key + "Tab". I remember reading that others had this problem too.
- Can anyone verify that if you alt + tab (using the "Right Alt" key) from TF2 full screen, that you no longer are able to open the console and/or use backspace to delete text? I always used right alt key + tab all this time due to just being used to it (I used to disable left alt key for Windows due to me accidentally hitting alt + tab when using left alt while tabbing for the scoreboard in game). - Testing it again - After using "Right Alt" + Tab to minimize TF2 then returning to it, the bug occurs. An interesting thing I never knew is that using left alt + tab (or Alt + Esc) to minimize TF2 will cause the problem to disappear after you remaximize it. Can anyone else verify that Right Alt + Tab causes the problem (after right alt + tabbing, can you check if you can open your console command and/or use backspace to delete text)? It was a frustrating problem for me but it seems there was an easy solution all this time. Goldfish 20:06, 7 July 2011 (PDT)
