Alright, I figured essentially how to get the three first parts done (basic demonstration, ranged use, and speed differences), but for the final part, in which you can steal the heads of another player's head-counting weapon, should I have them be a bot and wielding the Eyelander (essentially the same as the Headtaker), or have another human player with another Headtaker (for the bot that kills, I gathered that I'd have them face a certain direction depending on a key I'd bind a direction to via yaw_offset). -- [[User:SyKhotic|SyKhotic]] 13:05, 17 August 2011 (PDT) | Alright, I figured essentially how to get the three first parts done (basic demonstration, ranged use, and speed differences), but for the final part, in which you can steal the heads of another player's head-counting weapon, should I have them be a bot and wielding the Eyelander (essentially the same as the Headtaker), or have another human player with another Headtaker (for the bot that kills, I gathered that I'd have them face a certain direction depending on a key I'd bind a direction to via yaw_offset). -- [[User:SyKhotic|SyKhotic]] 13:05, 17 August 2011 (PDT) | ||

Lumbricus Lid Taunt Demonstration Video
Hey Windpower,
hope you remember our talk few hours ago. I wanted to add a Taunt demonstration for the Lumbricus Lid, and other moderators told me it is your area to make decisions of which video to put up, so I show you my 2nd attempt of a recording. This time on the right map!! However!!: I noticed afterwards, that I accidently recorded my ping and stuff in it, so this will re-recorded. I rather would love to know if you are happy with the general recording of the video, since you said 'stand in the middle of the map and do the taunt' xD.
Thanks in advance for a reply!! T-Wayne 09:09, 12 August 2011 (PDT)
- Now, as you know, this can't be part of the weapon demonstration project because it is not a weapon. However, the video should still comply with its technical requirements (which is just a fancy way to say that it has to be good quality). In the case of this video, this means:
- Video must be 720p (current video only goes up to 480p)
- Must not have black bars (current video has black bars on all sides)
- Don't record your ping and stuff, indeed
- In the backpack view, the soldier should be holding the Equalizer, not the rocket launcher
- Also in the backpack view, the mouse should be on the Lumbricus Lid right at the start of the video
- When closing the backpack, you should already have the Equalizer out
That should be all~ Thanks :3 — Wind 17:34, 12 August 2011 (PDT)
Allright, I'll re-record the video, keeping in mind all your points mentioned above, shouldn't be too hard to be honest. Black parts appeared, 'cause I've set Fraps recording to 'Half-Size'. That also explains the low quality of my recording. I'll change that, since my usual display of the game is 1650x1080, and should be a great quality for the reference video. However I don't understand your Point 4: "* In the backpack view, the soldier should be holding the Equalizer, not the rocket launcher". The rocketlauncher is primary weapon, and the default one. I can'T de-select it. And the equalizer is a melee weapon. Since those are weapons of different slots, I have to hold both weapons (except I'm wrong again). Oh I thought I was holding the equalizer allready >.<, much to learn I have say Master Yoda ^^ Pinging view will be removed of course, I sometimes don'T notice it appears there x.x
Thank you for your tips, hopefully I can record a satisfying new video for you today :D ^^.

I've rewatched them, but I tend to miss incredibly obvious thing (ie, the sound track is muted), so I was hoping you could confirm that they're acceptable. Just leave a comment on either user page or my talk page. Thanks! — Armisael 06:06, 13 August 2011 (PDT)
Thank you, Wind!
You can still (c)lick it and talk about, you know, whatever... shrugs and curls hair --SilverHammer 21:38, 14 August 2011 (PDT)
