::::I thought about this idea as well -- it's not a bad idea to only put the Russian prices on the Russian pages. The problem, though, is that with the way we do language switching, that won't actually make the templates any cheaper (actually, they will become more expensive). The solution would be to use Russian templates specifically designed for the Russian article, and take rubles out of the current templates. Also, I don't know about the other three currencies. I think the other three all need to be on the English pages, and it's hard to know which is appropriate for other non-English languages. – <span style="text-size:1.5em;font-weight:bold;color:#363;text-shadow:0 0 0.8em #6c6;">fashnek</span> (talk·c) 22:06, 13 December 2011 (PST) | ::::I thought about this idea as well -- it's not a bad idea to only put the Russian prices on the Russian pages. Expanding, cleaning up this page.
I'm going to take on the task of expanding and cleaning up this page. I'm primarily interested in discussing how the store works, its current limitations, and the breadth of the catalog. What things can be bought? What things can't? What things are available both in the store and as a drop? What are store exclusives? And so forth.
This can essentially form a quick summary of the store itself and a brief overview of its available contents and features.

- Great! You're more than welcome to. -RJ 13:22, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- I took the liberty of adding several items to the "Unavaliable Items" list. The following are what I added: Polycount Pin, Golden Wrench, Wiki Cap, Ellis' Cap, Frying Pan, Gentle Manne's Service Medal, Mercenary, Soldier of Fortune, Grizzled Veteran, Primeval Warrior, Bronze Dueling Badge, Silver Dueling Badge, Gold Dueling Badge and Platinum Dueling Badge. I'm doublechecking to make sure that I haven't forgotten anything. In the event that I have, feel free to add it. Also, should the Stock Weapons be added to this list, or would that be redundant? I'm leaning towards not doing so. Any opinions?--Krizzle_0 12:38, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- Just a quick update. I added the three types of metal to the list, as well as the Southern Hospitality and Vita-Saw. I also reordered the items a little so they look a a little better grouped.--Krizzle_0 1:20, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- We're working at cross purposes. Is this a list of all unavailable items or only those which are available in-game but unavailable in the store? If it's the latter, change the text preceding the section and leave it as-is. Zoolooman 02:01, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
- I changed the section to "Non-Purchasable Items" as opposed to "Unobtainable Items". --Krizzle_0 8:03, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

- Can you guys ad about the possibilities of the "special Gift" from Valve when a person does a purchase over $20 in one transaction. What might the gift contain i.e pile of standard weapons, some special item or hat etc - SG 16:35, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- I'll add it right now. Zoolooman 16:38, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Two more items need to be added to the nonpurchasable items: Rimmed Raincatcher and Professor's Pecularity. Why did the Raincatcher not get included with the restocking of Bombing Runs, Stout Shakos, etc. I don't understand. Fyahweather 02:09, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
This is really fun, but...
I feel like I'm reproducing info packed onto other pages.

Just an example. Any opinions?

how to edit the link of the pictures?
the crate's icon is linked to the paint can somehow have no clue how to edit
- Fixed. -Ravedave 15:24, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
- Fixed for good. The "Icon item" template had a few too many cut-paste. Simrider 03:10, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
Include prices?
Should we list the prices from the store? I find it annoying to have fire up TF2 to get the prices. -Ravedave 15:25, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
"Selling" items on Trivia
Should be noted that the "selling" part on trivia may refer to the modelers who had their works included in the game get a percentage from sales from Valve.--Kid Of The Century 15:55, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
The only thing I want to add here
I'll collect some screens of the Mann Co store, and then I think this page will be less stub and more useful resource. :) Zoolooman 20:23, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

How about this for a page quote? "You shoulda oughta brought more gun, son." - Engineer ? Scatmanjohn 23:20, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- How about "400,000 dollars to fire that weapon? Yeah money well spent." Or is that too negative? – Smashman (talk) 23:28, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- I think that would work better actually, could have a tagline like, "The Scout on proper financial planning" or something along those lines. Scatmanjohn 23:33, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- Better yet, "The Scout on Financial Advice" Scatmanjohn 23:34, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- I like it! ~

Changing the top image
I'm considering altering this page's Title image to the actual store page. Thoughts? BraveTriforcer 04:59, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
Translating into other languages & updating when necessary
Hi, Can someone edit the script and for a moment think, how we other translators can in easy way edit & add new items to store after new update. For now it is extremely difficult. I wrote Polish (/pl) page and now i can't even add new items, because you are now using new script and all page is in old version. I also checked the other translations and all are in the same condition. I hope that someone take care of it. -- Szumin (talk • contrib) 14:04, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
- I agree, currently the English page is using Template:Store_row and I can't find a way to directly translate the template anywhere. The alternative is to do what the German Mann co store page does and do all the tables manually, but I imagine the Store_row template was created because that alternative is too clunky. For now, pretty much every non-English page is left half-translated, as a result. - Meadows 15:09, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
- Moussekateer is on it --CruelCow (talk) 03:51, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
- Done: The tables have been moved into templates (Template:Storepurchasable, Template:Storenonpurchasable), that way if new items get added, all translated pages will be updated too. The name translations themselves are taken from Template:Item name. The headers/halloween text are translateable in the templates themselves. --CruelCow (talk) 01:54, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

Gift wrap gone?
I can't see gift wrap in the store any more. - Devozade 13:45, 25 December 2010 (UTC)
End-of-the-Year Paint/Tag sale
A Bitter Taste of Defeat and Lime and Pink as Hell have been added, and the Black and White paints are available for a limited time. Tags are also on sale. The sale lasts from December 31, 2010 to January 2, 2011. Satorifan 02:56, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
Stamps
Should stamps be listed here to? KillerKooK 07:53, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I guess it should, since they are part of the store. --sh_Grey (TALK | CONTRIBS) 21:34, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
Pricing
Though I believe valid information could go in this section on the page, what I see seems like an opinion, especially when it makes direct reference to Max's head and relating it to value. Should it be edited/removed? AttorneyAtMusic 20:01, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Misc. Items
Shouldn't all the misc. items like the medic mask and teddy roosebelt be on this page? Henroast 17:14, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
Mann Co. Preview bugs
Bugs/issues with April14 patch.
These are the bugs I've submitted in-game already, some may or may not have already been present. They are all to do with previewing items in the Mann Co. Store.
- The 'Ol Snaggletooth (Sniper) is missing it's preview image.
- The 'Garish and Overbearing' setting for the Scotsmans Stovepipe (Demoman) hat is missing its texture, and shows up purple and black.
- The default Red texture for the Chieftans Challenge (Soldier) hat is missing.
- Dr Dappers Topper (Soldier) is missing both its preview image, and does not appear on the Soldier at all when prievewing for the Red team. It does appear for Blu though.
- The Grenadier's Softcap (Soldier) does not have a preview image, and is textured white when previewing for both Red and Blu teams.
- The Heavy Duty Rag (Heavy) is missing it's preview texture (it is currently using a bumpmap/lightmap image), and does not display when viewing the Heavy on Red team.
- The Industrial Festivizer (Engineer) hat is colored white when viewing the Red team.
- When first viewing the Gloves of Running Urgently (Heavy), they do not have the flame texture on them. Switching from Red to Blu and back to Red again will fix it.
- The Half-Zatoichi will show blood on the blade for Blu Team (Demoman and Soldier) but not the Red Team.
- All characters, except for the Demoman (and possibly the Sniper, I can't tell) have no eyes in prieview mode, and their character models are able to be seen through.
- All instances of a Blu Demoman preview have him holding a Scottish Resistance instead of a Stickybomb Launcher (where applicable).
Dunno if these should be added to the bugs section on the main article or not DarkQuill 05:34, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- There is another bug i found that you haven't explained. Its when you preview any hat with 'team spirit' paint. As you switch teams to Blu, the red colour still remains instead of the light blue colour respectively. Possibly a bug? Skymonster 13:13, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
Time restriction before trading.
Apparently tools and other stuff (usually tradable) bought from the Store cannot be traded right away, but have to wait a few work days. Can anyone confirm this?
Also does this "timer" carry over? E.g. unboxed stuff/painted hats cannot be traded until the time limit expires.
What about Dueling Minigames or Gifts? Can you still use them right away?--Kid Of The Century 07:35, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- You might have found it out already, but uncrated tools can be traded right away. And painted hats don't inherite get the timer. - J.P. 19:54, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

How much do you have to buy from the Mann Co Store for your account to be upgraded to premium? Thespy 12:49, 4 July 2011 (PDT)
- You only have to buy one thing to get premium (and the Mann Co. Cap) Isakcool 06:04, 12 August 2011 (PDT)
Price Changing for Hats?
The prices of all $5.99 hats shown on the Mann Co. Store page doesn't seem correct. When I log onto Tf2 and look through the store, the prices of those hats are only $4.99. Should someone update/fix the prices on the Mann Co. Store page? — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xxdspatxx (talk) • (contribs) 01:57, 6 August 2011
Item in the wrong section?
I noticed there's a section for hats and another for misc, despite this, the camera beard is listed in the hats category... is this a mistake or is it actually misplaced on the store? I'm not sure how to change it so I'm just mentioning it here. Matimoo 02:43, 11 September 2011 (PDT)
Rubles
Uber update bundle now costs 368.56 rub, which is equal to ~ 12 bucks. See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHm8QLBdzsk Edikkisin 00:05, 13 September 2011 (PDT)
TOO MUCH TEMPLATE
The page can't handle the amount of templates. What do we do? (For starters, remove the template about the images not being well enough for whatever nationlistic git who wrote that. You can't improve it anyway since those sales have long been gone.) Kazzymodus 14:03, 8 November 2011 (PST)
- Indeed, the template include size has been exceeded. All in favor of removing prices to fix this problem, since they're listed on the individual pages now? – fashnek (talk·c) 21:55, 13 December 2011 (PST)
- I agree with the idea of removing the prices. – Cructo [T][C] 21:56, 13 December 2011 (PST)
- Comment Removing the prices could work, but be sure to make it clear where users can find the price instead if a move it made. MogDog66 21:57, 13 December 2011 (PST)
- I think, that prices should stay, BUT there should be only 1 price - local. Russian people don't care about price in $, and others don't care about рубли. Let's just leave the prices in our currency Limie Pie 22:00, 13 December 2011 (PST)

Question
Is the cleanup mark at the top of the page needed? Have I missed something in the wiki rules that requires everything to be in an American format? If so, I wasn't aware of it. MCMackers 03:44, 11 January 2012 (PST)
