::Oh okay, the Weapon Demonstration page didn't say that anybody was working on it, so sorry about that, and even though I read the entire Weapon Demonstration page several times through, I never encountered the 'Extended Version' of the music. I was also not aware that you're supposed to restart TF2 after changing resolutions, as I prefer not to mess with the settings because my game freezes for like 30 after I change them. I thought I turned off my mic, but apparently not. So, yeah. Thanks a ton for helping me with this, I really want to get into the Demonstrating business, and thought that I might as well start here. Oh and a question, are the black lines on the side acceptable? They looked really awkward but I don't know how to get rid of them. My screen's native resolution is 1366x768, is that why there's the lines? But in all seriousness, thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. Weapon bugs
Through some rather extensive weapon testing with a friend, I found some bugs (some are already listed on the page).
- When fired while crit boosted, this weapon plays the stock sniper rifle firing sound.
- This weapon fires silently when in focus.
- No decapitations on a headshot kill.
- Both SMGs use the tracer effect when in focus mode.
Until this weapon is fixed in the next patch, it should probably not receive a weapon demonstration. Dogspajamas 23:44, 27 June 2012 (PDT)
- The ability to manually unscope in focus mode is currently listed as a bug. I'm pretty sure this is intentional and the item effects are just poorly worded, since it doesn't force you to scope at the beginning of focus. Thoughts? Extreme creme 13:52, 28 June 2012 (PDT)
- All of the bugs listed here seem to have been fixed, other than the SMG tracers. I will resume working on a weapon demonstration. Dogspajamas 19:31, 28 June 2012 (PDT)
- I'm fairly positive the "no unscoping" refers to the automatic unscope after firing, this is listed in blue as a positive element, being forced to remain scoped would be a negative thing. Nattack 19:44, 28 June 2012 (PDT)

It's probably worth noting that this weapon overrides the "User cannot be killed by Headshots" ability on the Croc'O'Style kit. Miffy92 20:46, 30 June 2012 (PDT)
Similarites between the weapons.
It's pretty obvious that this weapon was partly inspired by real weapon Wa2000 Roaper 12:45, 26 June 2012 (PDT)
- Should we add that to the weapons trivia later? Roaper 12:49, 26 June 2012 (PDT)
- I'd even go so far as to include a reference to the weapon as used in the Hitman series of games considering the TF2 name and the prominence of the WA2000 gun in that series. --Schtooben 14:47, 26 June 2012 (PDT)
- The entire set is based on the movie, Léon: The Professional. Balladofwindfishes 15:18, 26 June 2012 (PDT)
- Should we include that in the trivia then? Roaper 15:36, 26 June 2012 (PDT)
- There's bound to be a source for it somewhere. We just need a source, other than me just knowing it from Emporium posts made months ago. Balladofwindfishes 17:18, 26 June 2012 (PDT)
- Having trouble finding anything on it but it's a very obvious reference. 19:40, 26 June 2012 (PDT)

- I'm not seeing the resemblance to the WA2000 at all, can someone point it out to me? ThunderGyra 23:42, 28 June 2012 (PDT)
Crafting recipe
The crafting recipe for the Hitman's Heatmaker is a reclaimed, a Machina and a Bazaar Bargain. Cheddars 19:24, 27 June 2012 (PDT)
No Decapitations?
I was just on walkway. It doesn't decapitate on headshots. Is this a glitch or just cause of the map? KingofKoopas 20:34, 27 June 2012 (PDT)
- This has since been fixed. Dogspajamas 19:29, 28 June 2012 (PDT)
Decap achievements?
Since this weapon makes liberal use of the Eyelander code for decaps, can it get decap achievements? Balladofwindfishes 06:53, 30 June 2012 (PDT)
- I believe the Decap achievement's are tied to certain weapons and the Heatmaker is not included. Roaper 18:30, 2 July 2012 (PDT)
Wa2000 or L96?
Okay, I know in the Trivia it states that it has the stock of a Wa2000 with the shape of a VSS. While I do agree that it is shaped like a VSS, the stock look a lot more like the stock on an L96 than a Wa2000. Any ideas on what we should do here? LazerEagle1 20:50, 5 July 2012 (PDT)
- I'm pretty sure it's based on the WA2000's stock. I mean, they're both made of wood and also the top is straight. And it's design is very simple and a bit rectangular, instead of the AWM's more future-like one. — kill — 21:30, 5 July 2012 (PDT)
- Oh okay, I see it now, I was just using Wikipedia's pictures as reference, Wikipedia doesn't have a great picture of the Wa2000. But yeah, I see it now. LazerEagle1 21:57, 5 July 2012 (PDT)
Weapon Demonstration!
Hey guys, I decided to make a Weapon Demonstration for ya! For some reason it's kinda shaky, and there's black on the side of the screen, but at least we have one now! Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFQvOXDbT3o&feature=youtu.be LazerEagle1 21:51, 5 July 2012 (PDT)
- You should probably go to this part of the Wiki. So you can know that someone is already on the weapon demonstration video. Even though, I'm sorry but your video isn't really good enough. You changed resolutions and didn't restart the game, meaning the item box is transparent. Also you didn't blend the music nor downloaded the extended version of the weapon demonstration video music so it wouldn't end and start again in the middle of the video like it did. Also because of that, the ending of the video should also be synced to match the end of the music. I also keep hearing some background noise as if Fraps was recording the microphone... — kill — 22:13, 5 July 2012 (PDT)
