The Heavyweight Champ is a special robot that appears in Mann vs. Machine, being one of the counterparts of the human Heavy. All Heavyweight Champs attack with melee weapons, making them much easier to eliminate than most robots. However, they always attack in large numbers as well to counteract this.
Two versions of the Heavyweight Champ appear in-game. The first version is equipped with the Killing Gloves of Boxing and the Pugilist's Protector, and thus it gains the ability of the Gloves, gaining crits when it makes a kill. The second version is equipped only with the Gloves of Running Urgently, allowing it to run much faster than the other Heavyweight Champs. The second version is seen far less frequently, attacking alongside, but in smaller groups, with the other Heavyweight Champs.
