Spy Robots appear in Mann vs. Machine as enemies.
Normal Variants
Spy
A Spy robot behaves like a human Spy would, sapping Engineer buildings, backstabbing enemies, cloaking, disguising, and using its Revolver and Knife in close quarters. Unlike other robots, the Spies spawn where the players aren't looking in close proximity to the players, as opposed to from a map's normal spawn points. As soon as a Spy robot spawns, it will disguise and try to backstab players. Spy robots sometimes Cloak when discovered and may use a Dead Ringer to feign death.
Spy robots are in a support role only. A notification is always shown when a Spy enters the map, and its entrance is announced by the Administrator. Killing a Spy robot results a notification by the Administrator of how many Spy robots are left on the field.
