Mann vs. Machine mission

Mann vs. Machine missions were added in the Mann vs. Machine Update, they determine the spawn rates for Gray Mann's robot army. If a player uses a Tour of Duty Ticket, they will obtain rare items upon successfully completing an Advanced difficulty mission.

Update history

August 15, 2012 Patch

• Added missions to the game.

August 23, 2012 Patch

• Added difficulty text "Normal" and "Advanced" to the MvM scoreboard when playing official Valve missions.
• Server browser will now show MvM mission name in the "map" column. (E.g. "mvm_mannworks_advanced")

September 4, 2012 Patch

• Fixed the party leader’s mission completions showing in the game lobby instead of your own.
