The Mecha Update is a major upcoming update for Team Fortress 2. It was announced on December 19, 2012.
It features the final class in Mann vs. Machine, the Engineer.
It also adds a new map, Big Rock.
It comes with a new comic, Shadow Boxers, that tells the story about how Soldier infiltrated the Gray Mann headquarters.
It has three new weapons:
- The Rescue Ranger, a shotgun for the Engineer.
- The Loose Cannon, a gun for the Demoman.
- The Vaccinator, a medigun.
Finally, it brings back the naughty and nice crates.
