Add unused bots?
There are currently a number of unused giants and special bots in the robot_standard.pop and robot_giant.pop files, but I'm not sure if it would be viable to add them to the article. Maybe add an "Unused Robots" section? (Said files are in team fortress 2 content.gcf -> tf -> scripts -> population) AbeX300 10:44, 18 August 2012 (PDT)
Uber Medic Bots
From a few of my matches on the advanced difficulty, The medic bots will attack you with syringe guns if they are airblasted away from their target and have not deployed their Ubercharge. Can anyone confirm this? --Dragonrage 18:50, 18 August 2012 (PDT)
Yeah, got killed by a medic bot. Wasn't separated from his target though, round had just ended Dagordae 22:55, 18 August 2012 (PDT)
Normal Flare Pyros
They exist, found one (and got killed by) on Coal Town Sarcasm 18:40, 18 August 2012 (PDT)
Razorback Snipers
While I haven't fought them myself, I've seen "Razorback Sniper" multiple times in the kill feed while playing on Mannworks, though I don't remember the exact mission, and I'm pretty sure they didn't have an unique icon, much like Bonk! Scouts and Buff Soldiers. Manibogi 20:19, 18 August 2012 (PDT)
Missing Info
There are a number of things still absent from this page. Scouts can sometimes use Bonk!, Soldiers can sometimes use the Buff Banner, Pyros can sometimes use the Flare Gun, Snipers can sometimes use the Razorback. All of these do not get different icons. Medics can defend themselves with the Syringe Gun as a last resort (not sure if QF Medics can, or if it's only Uber Medics.) There are normal Giant Heavies and Giant Soldiers. Stonelikearock 23:52, 18 August 2012 (PDT)
- Scouts can use Bonk! Atomic Punch--I've never seen this.
- Soldiers can use the Buff Banner--Are you sure it's not the bomb bot upgrade?
- Pyros can use the Flare Gun--There is a special, giant flare gun pyro.
- Snipers can use the Razorback--Never seen this.
- Medics can defend themselves--Never seen this.
- Yes, the list doesn't have "Giant Heavy Robot" or "Giant Soldier Robot". Do you know the health or weapons of them? (do they wear hats) Darkid (|) 06:54, 19 August 2012 (PDT)

Yes, this is a list of every preset bot type in MvM. Every bot that isn't on this list is completely stock, with the only exceptions being some Medics on all of Decoy's missions that have 400% faster uber rate and 90% slower heal rate (some of them spawn with full charge too), and some bat Scouts on Coaltown's second advanced map that have permanent critboost.
I made this list earlier, but for a lot of reasons, I'm not sure how it should be integrated into the actual page. Should the unused bot types like the Giant Medic be kept off the list? What about the Spy and melee Scout that still have presets for some reason even though they're completely stock, shouldn't they be kept off too? Also, what about the in-code names under the in-game ones, like T_TFBot_Giant_Demoman? Should those be removed, or are they necessary because of the different varieties of bots that have the same name, like all of the Medics and Giant Demomen? Keybored6522 10:07, 19 August 2012 (PDT)
- this is great info, I'll update the individual robot pages to reflect these numbers Stripedy 12:02, 20 August 2012 (PDT)
with links to all the bots, like the class nav. Hopping from one robot page to another quickly is not very intuitive as it is now, and I think the 8 robots are enough to warrant a nav. Balladofwindfishes 10:40, 19 August 2012 (PDT)
- Support Agreed, so far I've just been keeping all the robot tabs open on my browser. I suspect that the Sentry Buster and the Tank have to be added as well. 19:25, 19 August 2012 (PDT)

Naming the GRU Heavy
The GRU heavy is not listed with a name. How about we call them 'Hasty Heavyweights'? Or simply GRU Heavyweights. I think they do deserve an original name if the game lacks one for them. K-Raider NL 03:21, 21 August 2012 (PDT)
Dead Ringer Spy?
When is there ever a case where the Spy uses a Dead Ringer? I've literally checked all of the .pop files, and there is no mention anywhere that a Spy uses a Dead Ringer at one point. Should that bit with the Spy using the Dead Ringer be removed? Or is there actual source that proves that the Spy does use the Dead Ringer at some point? AbeX300 09:34, 22 August 2012 (PDT)
Same thing goes for the Loch-N-Load Demomen that this page keeps going on about. They don't exist anywhere, but they appeared on the pages early on somehow and now I guess they've just stuck. Keybored6522 13:32, 22 August 2012 (PDT)
Class Icons
Where abouts in the GCF are the robot class icons?
Looking for them to see whether it is practical to modify these icons, or add more for new, customised classes in custom .pop files.

vs. player behaviour
I noticed some patterns in how the bots react to players. Please tell me if you agree or not, help out if you want to, and then we have some more info for the page. At first, bots only attack players they see in front of them, while walking along the path with the bomb (carrier). Players behind them will not be noticed until they attack in some way. Robots close to a robot taking damage may turn around as well if a player flanks the group. (Giants will defend their medics ) Robots will chase players close to them after taking damage or a nearby bot taking damage. Robots have perfect accuracy, although they cannot seem to lead their targets. Not all robots have good tracking. (Spies instantly backstab when the have the chance) Sometimes, groups of robots will take a small detour, as long the route to the bomb does not lengthen too much. This usually happens when the bomb lies near the hatch. Robots will split up to attack the spawn area from the left and right. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by K-Raider NL (talk) • (contribs) 10:19, 25 September 2012
