Revision as of 18:59, 20 October 2010
The Dueling Mini-Game item costs $0.99 USD for 5 uses. It is a level 5 item.

Let me get this straight. You level up one level for every 10 wins, and one duelling 'pack of 5' costs $0.99. And to get the final duelling badge, you need to be level 75, which is 750 duelling wins. That means, to get the final badge, you would have spent almost $150 on duels! Wow. --Giraff3 20:29, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
Not necesarily, you can still win duels that you where challanged to and the item can be found by drops. --Tribestone 15:43, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Plus the badge starts at level 1 so that's 740 wins.
I've noticed the page says that the item will be refunded twice, don't know if that should be changed. Jayzak 09:38, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
if you want to use the dueling mini game without the "action" feature, normally you just go into your inventory ( easy way is just by pressing 'N' by default in game) click the item, then press the "use" button, and then lastly choose your opponent
i got one of these...'don't know how to use it while in the game though. However, i DO know how to equipped it in a loadout... --Awesome Weegee 03:39, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Not sure where the information on here came from, but some of it is incorrect/incomplete. It says you earn medals by winning, but you get the first medal for your first duel, win or lose. It also says the badge "must" be equipped, but that is not true either, you can go into your backpack and simply select it and select "Use" ("Use with" changes to "Use" when you select the duel item) and it functions the same way, so you don't have to go through and have it equipped on every class. --Crap 02:41, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
Generalities
Now that the Duel minigame can be dropped from crates, we have something to test: an uncrated duel minigame has one (random drop) or five (purchased) uses?
And the page says "Every time you level, you get a random item along with a single use 'Dueling Mini-Game'": This is everytime you level your badge (10 wins) or level its quality (250 wins)?
Since I lack one (or 48) duel minigames I can't test it myself.

- It's an item drop per badge level. That's one per 10 wins.

Kicked from server?
What happens when a dueller is kicked from the server? Does it count as an involuntary disconnect or as the player leaving?
- If disconnect: admins can avoid losses by kicking the player before the duel ends.
- If leaving: admins can easily win duels by kicking adversaries. Dzjudz 06:09, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
