Ammo is an important pickup in the classic Team Fortress games, as it allows all of the guns to fire. In early Quake Team Fortress, ammo is scattered around the resupply room, but by the time Team Fortress Classic was released, all ammo in a resupply room is placed in Backpacks.
Contents
Ammo types
- Shell – used by the Shotgun, Super Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, Automatic Rifle, Tranquilizer Gun and Assault Cannon.
- Nail – used by the Nailgun, Super Nailgun and Railgun.
- Rocket – used by the Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher, Pipe bomb Launcher and the Incendiary Cannon.
- Cell – used by the QWTF Assault Cannon, the Flamethrower and as building material for the Engineer.
