After i finished translating the whole page i made the mistake to edit the english version, instead of create the new one with "/ro". Sorry for confusion :) --Mouglas36 14:02, 2 January 2013 (PST)

Deleted my page and my history expertise

Hi im a new contributor to trivia pages and I take a few hours to make one sentence of trivia making sure its factually correct I decided to make a page but I needed help from a friend who knew html better than me so I saved the page and then you deleted it for no reason specified It was a page explaining tf2 trade servers thank you for your time. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kooqie (talk) • (contribs)

There is no reason for a trading servers page to exist on the Wiki. We already have an article on Trading, as it is. --User LordKelvin Signature.png LordKelvin 17:18, 26 January 2014 (PST)

Okay thanks for the explanation Soo far I want to contribute but there isnt much to do I have been doing small trivia and its barely noticeable are there pages that need work?

Vote thanks

I only write you here because you dont allow emails over the wiki, sorry. Please remember to vote. I'm TheDoctor. I waited for 5month that the staff comes to a decision. If you don't think i should get it vote "No". If you think i should get it vote "Yes". If you have mixed feelings "Abstain". But please vote. It is frustrating a bit, sorry. δ³Σx² > Add + or - skills for me 07:38, 1 April 2013 (PDT)

Could I ask you a favor?

It's bit embarrassing to say but, can you make staff vote for Wiki cap?

I know it's hard to evaluate my contributions since most of em are written in Korean.

But please make a review. It will be a great help for me.

Thanks. Themokey 18:48, 14 April 2013 (PDT)

Excuse Me

  • I'm sorry, but I intend to expand the Team Fortress Classic section of the wiki, and the first thing i wanted to do was to change the strategies of the classes. Most of the pages have strategies are about the classes in TF2. So I had to remove incorrect information before I start expanding those pages.

First of all, please use the Show preview button when editing a page. That lets you complete your edit in one try instead of making multiple small edits.
Second, you attempted to translate the pages into Lithuanian, which is not a supported language in Team Fortress 2. On top of which, I double-checked those pages and they read very much like you had used Google Translate to create them, which is not allowed on this Wiki. This was already explained to you on your talk page by Ashes, which you decided to remove for no apparent reason (I should also point out that removing messages left by other users on your talk page is generally frowned upon too).
In the future, please read your talk page to see if there are any explanations for your contributions being removed, before contacting a staff member. Additionally, do try to read the style guide before making any contributions to begin with. --User LordKelvin Signature.png LordKelvin 21:55, 15 July 2013 (PDT)

Reply

Hello, I jsut reply your comment on my talk .Listen very carefully, I am a user who is registered there about two days. I would not do that just war for a translation which I made spelling errors. It is true that I board not read the rules and that I'm not proud but I note that you are more experienced than me (you contribute to the wiki since 2007 or 2008 if I link yours description and achievements) This is true, I Thank you for your advice to me but I did not need it because I will try to contribute and translate pages to my common language (french). So I say thank you for the advice and do not bother me. thank you.

Update to Template:Current Events

Just got done writing this. Feel free to modify it if you need to. The template hasn't been updated for a few days and there's an entire blogpost un-written about.

I figured since you were the last to update it I'd ask you to. I feel like I've been annoying WindPower too much recently. ~Sven~ (talk) 21:39, 27 July 2013 (PDT)

Upload warnings: size too large

I've run into some trouble uploading voicelines. Sf13_mannbros_argue21.wav is 2.18MB, but the server is only configured to upload up to 2 MB. I believe this is the only one that exceeds the limit. Can you circumvent this restriction?

Also, as a heads up, I've finished (hopefully) uploading the new class voicelines and I'm working my way through the Mann Brothers voicelines. I expect to be able to finish up the transcripts tonight.

This is something you'll probably have to ask Moussekateer, RJackson, or WindPower about, sadly. I don't have much experience in that area myself, and I don't even know if I have the privileges for it anyways. --User LordKelvin Signature.png LordKelvin 14:53, 30 October 2013 (PDT)
Alright thanks, I thought that you would be the best to talk to since you're the only admin recently active. User Upgrade Signature.png 14:56, 30 October 2013 (PDT)

Major Update Criteria

I was under the impression that the wiki used inclusion on [www.tf2.com/history.php] as the criteria for a major update. What standard are you using for major updates (presumably not that one, since you relisted the summer event as a major update). — Armisael (T · C) 06:47, 5 November 2013 (PST)

I was working under the presumption that, given the amount of content that was changed in the patch itself, and the fact that the update itself was previewed over several days, it qualifies as a major update. Besides which, the Scream Fortress 2013 update isn't there either, for whatever reason or other. Plus, that page, even if it's official, also lists only 390 updates total, when we're at a total of 399 as of the last one (based on manual count).
Maybe this is something that should be taken to a main discussion page (and if you want to create such a discussion, feel free to), but I feel that the Summer Event 2013 does deserve a place in the official updates, given all the major changes made in the patch. --User LordKelvin Signature.png LordKelvin 10:08, 5 November 2013 (PST)

Grounds for category deletion

If empty and unused are not grounds for category deletion, what is? Darkid (Talk|Contribs) 13:51, 3 December 2013 (PST)

The page itself isn't technically empty. It's a user group category, even if both contributors haven't been active for a while. If/when the page author requests the deletion, then I'll get rid of it. --User LordKelvin Signature.png LordKelvin 13:54, 3 December 2013 (PST)
So the grounds are "Author request" only, if it's a non-wiki article? Why was User:Berna.leao/Classes/pt-br deleted then, if it was requested by a third party? Darkid (Talk|Contribs) 13:58, 3 December 2013 (PST)
I was concerned about potential conflicting categorizations since it looked like the page used templates that come from article pages. That user group does not, so I'm going to leave it alone. --User LordKelvin Signature.png LordKelvin 14:01, 3 December 2013 (PST)
