Less than 1/1th of a second. It isn't different. In fact, if you go into "Weapon Demonstration: Tomislav" it pretty much screams at you "Hey! Look at me! I'm useless!" because both the Minigun and the Tomislav start firing at the SAME TIME.

The Killing Gloves of Boxing. Valve is also trying to troll you with this thing. It's trying to get Heavies to equip something other than the Sandvich. But seriously, when you get a kill with this thing, switching to the Minigun and spinning up wastes more or less one second depending how quick your reactions are. Seriously, I speak from experience, my main loadout is Minigun, Sandvich, KGB. Use the Minigun. It will benefit you so much more.
