Didn't Heavy walk off with the note in hand, or was that a different piece of paper?

Shop

In epilogue there is a sign: "Магазин Джугджур" — "Dzhugdzhur Shop". If you don't understand Russian. Archeops (talk) 08:00, 5 December 2013 (PST)

The teeth

This could be a reference to Meet the Soldier, the BLU Spy has his teeth smashed out. It seems team does not matter since the Smissmas story was also with the BLU team.

after the MvM update the two teams got merged in a single RED one(this is prominent in "the shadow boxer" comic) and previous team differences has been insubstantial since then SerPomiz (talk) 16:29, 6 December 2013 (PST)

24 - House M.D.

Marco theorised, that 24th page and GHOST D.A. may be a reference to Template:W.

[21:41:56] <MarcoDoctorwho> On the comic, the lawyer is played by the Medic
[21:42:10] <MarcoDoctorwho> House M.D. is a medical drama (AKA medics, nurses etc...)

TALSTAS talk | cont 09:47, 6 December 2013 (PST)

IRC is not exactly something that could be cited, also: TF2 has a medic. House MD has medics. Thus TF2 = House MD! Or am I missing the part with the lawyer? Darkid (Talk|Contribs) 10:43, 6 December 2013 (PST)
Actuyally I theorized a connection about medic and the HOUSE M.D. show. Even is is a legal drama, GHOST D.A. is still a parody of HOUSE M.D. in my opinion-- MarcoDoctorwho talk | contributi 10:44, 6 December 2013 (PST)
One is a show about a District Attorney who is a ghost, the other is about a Medical Doctor who is a jerk. There's no connection. --Piemanmoo 13:59, 6 December 2013 (PST)

Objection!

In Page 39, Soldier objects to the Scout in a strange way.

For one, the large font and red outline around the speech indicates very loud shouting. And also, the pose the Soldier objects in bears a striking resemblance to Phoenix Wright's Objection Pose. Now, this may be an utter coincidence, but it is a possibility that the two are related... Right..? ProfessorHeavy (talk) 13:17, 6 December 2013 (PST)

Joey Murders and the Tooth Prick

Seriously how is it not relevant that what he uses is very similar to this workshop item? It could be a possible hint of what's in an upcoming update.--Mann Co. Orange is awesome (talk) 04:06, 17 December 2013 (PST)

It is more likely just a coincidence that they are similar, a shiv made out of a tooth brush isn't exactly an original idea. Plus, Valve did say that these comics aren't to do with any updates. --Omolong (talk) 05:07, 17 December 2013 (PST)

Thoughts about trivia piece

"Although the RED Scout refers to the events of A Smissmas Story, that comic featured the BLU mercenaries instead. Likewise, the RED Spy is stated in Meet the Spy to be in a relationship with the BLU Scout's mother, but it is implied in this issue that he is in a relationship with the RED Scout's mother; this may be from the A Fate Worse Than Chess comic, where the teams merged into a single one."

Actually, I think it works differently in the comics than in the games. In the comics, we only ever see one of each character at a time. I think in the comic universe, there is one of each character, and they switch teams based on who's paying them more, so rather than there being a bunch of people who look and talk alike, they just switch teams often (the Spy might be an exception in the WAR update comic). There is no evidence that there is more than one of each team member (plus they have individual names) and the only time we see other engineers (Blood Brothers) they look different than the game Engineer. --PyroGothNerd (talk) 19:39, 8 April 2014 (PDT)
