Objective
In this gamemode their are three teams: The Hunted, the Assassins, and the Bodyguards. The Hunted's goal is to reach the truck alive while the Bodyguards protect them. The Assassins' must stop and kill the Hunted.
Scoring
- If the Hunted dies, the Assassins get 25 points.
- If the Hunted reaches the truck, he and the Bodyguards get 50 points.
Notes
- Whenever the Hunted dies or makes it to the truck, all players are moved back to their starting positions.
Trivia
- Some people theorize that the Hunted was going to be put in Team Fortress 2 because of the Civilian class's inclusion, but was ultimately unused.
- Acording to Valve, the Payload mode from Team Fortress 2 was supposed to be a recreation of the Hunted gamemode.
