Publicity blurb on the book

When viewed in the model viewer, one can see a publicity blurb on the back of the book. I've transcribed it here:

Inred in the blood, bound in the hide and written on the stolen paper of British kings! With over 400 pages of spells, enchantments, recipes and anecdotes about blowing things up, the Bombinomicon is a must-have for the practicing explosives aficionado and demolitions expert alike. Now in its fifteenth printing, every copy of the Bombinomicon is guaranteed to be possessed by an angry talking ghost.

"If ye gaze at one tome this year, MAKE IT NOT THIS ONE" - Merasmus the Magician

"Unputdownable! This book's jaws are like a vise" - Gravel Pit Arts Monthly

"If you like the dark arts and explosions, this might very well be the best book you read all year." - Demolition Gazette

Also beneath this is a torn-off price sticker reading "Discount $6.66".

I'm not sure if this is 100% accurate as the script is very odd and hard to read. Particularly that first word "inred" strikes me as odd, as I don't know if that's a real word.

Would this be worthy trivia to add? I only ask because in the time I spent transcribing it, the former Trivia section was completely removed. Will-T 21:11, 27 October 2011 (PDT)

The first word is "Inked" not "Inred". That whole thing might be a little long for a trivia section... I'm not sure where else it would go though. -- Alex2539 - (talk | contribs) -- 21:27, 27 October 2011 (PDT)
"Inked" makes sense; I just couldn't make out that first word while staring at it.. Guess we'll see how the page goes, maybe add it someplace later. Will-T 22:12, 27 October 2011 (PDT)

Dead Ringer

Is it worth noting that this works with the dead ringer, causing the fake death to be the special explosion? Or should that be left assumed? Haven't been able to test how the gibs produced are (or aren't) effected by disguise at death.

HyperionXV 01:34, 28 October 2011 (PDT)

On an unrelated note: anyone know if Bombinomicon or Cow Mangler's effect takes precedence? HyperionXV 02:12, 28 October 2011 (PDT)

Evil Dead Reference

This was in the trivia section before, but it looks like someone removed it. It most certainly is a reference to the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis considering it is a sentient spell book inked in blood and bound in flesh. Just do a Google image search of "necronomicon ex mortis" you'll see the physical similarities as well. CidTheNinja 21:22, 28 October 2011 (PDT)

The very fact that the names are so similar - "necronomicon" and "Bombinomicon" - implies that it's a reference. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 04:33, 29 October 2011 (PDT)
Just because someone says "beam me up, Scotty" doesn't mean it's a Star Trek reference. Such a phrase could very well be a nod to the visual effect after using the Eyelander. X3 Noobyorkcity 13:17, 5 March 2012 (PST)
Looks like it's still in the trivia section? Balladofwindfishes 13:59, 5 March 2012 (PST)

Demonstration

I think it would be good to show in it's weapon demonstration environmental death like drowning, sawblades, pitfall etc. Unown512 16:42, 15 March 2012 (PDT)

I agree. Also, I do not know if this is just me, but when people wearing the Bominomicon in game explode, to me, it shows a purple explosion. Could someone clarify this as to being just me or something for everyone please? Taser9001 11:55, 30 October 2012 (PDT)
When you die during Halloween or a Full Moon you explode in a purple explosion, all other times it is a regular explosion. Paladin Kurisaki 13:05, 31 October 2012 (PDT)

Bombinomicon Voice actor 2012

According to a friend of mine, Apparently the voice of the bombinomicon is voiced by the same person who voiced the scout. However we should research it a bit more. Could be nice for some trivia. Ashes 11:24, 28 October 2012 (PDT)

Should the actual character have this page now?

Nowadays, the Bombinomicon's become a semi-major character, probably on par with Merasmus. He may have only been a major character in a single comic, but this is the third year he's had an ingame presence, and they've changed him each time. Hell, he's claiming to be the actual devil these days.

That, and the possible wiki-confusion surrounding him (do you mean the badge, Merasmus's weapon, or the character?) makes me think it may be time to make a more cohesive page for all that information, and move the badge-related article into Bombinomicon(badge), or something.

I'd be happy to do the actual writing, but it seemed like way too major a change to make without getting some kind of thumbs up. Wellgolly (talk) 14:28, 1 November 2013 (PDT)

Spycicle on Bombinomicon?

I know, i read it on the bugs section but i still dont really understand how would it look like. My question is: If a Spycicle Spy backstab a person with bombinomicon what would it be like? Will that person be exloded in ice? Cjsonjon (talk) 03:53, 5 January 2015 (PST)

Seperation

I think the parts about the eyeadict and hell tower should be deprecated from the parts About the item should be seperated to their own articles. Anyone agree?
