Hammer units, also known as HU, are a unit of measurement used by Source Engine games. It is also used to judge the speed of objects and players in-game, mostly for Competitive play.
- For character models 1 Hammer unit corresponds to 1/12th of a foot
- For maps 1 Hammer unit corresponds to 1/16th of a foot
- Hammer units are also used for finding the range of a weapon
