Waterfront is a custom Mann vs. Machine map. It placed as a finalist in the Mappers vs Machines Contest.
Waterfront is one of the maps players must complete on Potato's MvM Server as a part of Operation Titanium Tank, a community-made tour which will reward the player with the Titanium Tank Participant Medal 2017 upon completion.
The mission that was chosen to be paired with Waterfront was "Watershed Waylay" by Swordstone.

Trivia
- There is an easter egg in the form of a hidden room (outside map boundaries), accessible only by means of an Engineer teleporter placed inside a vent. When placed, the teleporter leads to a featureless black void, aside from a pink symbol attached to the far-side wall. There is a constant 'howling' sound effect that loops while the player is in the room, accompanied with a rapid health drain and bleed particles.
- In the official mission for Operation Titanium Tank, Watershed Waylay, special caustic robots may spawn. These enemies, marked by a characteristic unusual effect, inflict a unique debuff which causes the player to bleed until they come into contact with any body of water on the map.
