Basis for calling it the spitfire?
I don't see any reason it would be called the "Spitfire" instead of something else. While it is a fitting name for a pilot flare gun, it's not conclusive. Plutonical (talk) 00:11, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
- It's the name that the model on the workshop has. It's the most reasonable guess at a name other than making it "Pilot Flare Gun". These pages usually contain a lot of speculation, this one has a very reasonable basis.
