Hello, Falcons!

Welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Official Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
    • You can use the Signature Icon.png button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
  • If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.
    • When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User Falcons to the file's name.
    • Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Falcons/ to the page title when you create the page.

Once again, welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Wiki!

Derelict map page

Hi there,

Please note that any Operation maps and missions whose maps are not listed in the nav should only be made on your user space. Once every one of those pages has been made, they will be transferred over all at once. However do note that none of these pages have been made yet currently. Any pages of such nature made on the mainspace will be deleted.

I don't understand, what did I do wrong? Falcons (talk) 12:20, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Nothing, but it's for any future map/mission pages you might make for these events.
GrampaSwood (talk) 12:24, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

Oh alright, thanks GrampaSwood I appreciate it. Falcons (talk) 12:27, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

Unused audios

Hi there,

Please don't upload files that you don't intend on using.

Sign images

Hi there,

What is the purpose of these sign images? Not every sign/poster has to be uploaded, only notable ones. It's also not necessary to sign your uploads.
GrampaSwood (talk) 17:57, 12 February 2023 (UTC)

I thought they were used in game? And what do you mean by "notable ones" (also I didnt know that signing my uploads isn't necessary)Falcons (talk) 17:59, 12 February 2023 (UTC)

Also, you're free to delete non-notable signs/posters if that's ok. Falcons (talk) 18:01, 12 February 2023 (UTC) Falcons (talk) 18:01, 12 February 2023 (UTC)

List of posters

Thank you for your interest and assistance with List of posters.

If you don't mind, I will make some adjustments.

While maybe the lettered circles and USDOT arrows might not be notable, it doesn't hurt to have them uploaded to the wiki, IMO, where they could be used for user page decorations.

No problem dude, that's what chads do and you're right, the lettered circles and USDOT arrows aren't notable but could be used for a user page, still good eh? Also thanks for appreciating my work. Falcons (talk) 10:41, 13 February 2023 (UTC)

A few pointers

Hi there,

To move an image, simply go to the "more" dropdown menu next to the search bar and click "move". Remember to give a reason for it and to also mark the redirect for deletion afterwards using {{Delete}}.

Please also carefully check the file name, as you've named the overview image "overveiew" instead.

I've fixed both of these for you.

Hi Falcons,

I'd like to first thank you for your contributions to the TF Wiki, however, I'd like to point out that the recent image that you uploaded was reverted. This is becuase the Scout's default hat clips with the cosmetic item.

I've also noticed you put "HLMV++" in your summaries, although it's fine to use please do remember that an image being made in HLMV++ is (on its own) not a reason to remake an image.
