Hi Yossef/Template:TSS,

Regarding your recent edit:

I'd like to suggest the use of the string {{item link|ENGLISH NAME}}, when translating item names with links.

Using the Spanish (/es) section as an example:

  • If you use {{item link|Buff Banner}}, the wiki will automatically translate the name into Estandarte de Ánimo.
    • But if you want to translate just the text name, you can use {{item name|ENGLISH NAME}}.

Same rule applies for updates:

  • {{update link|ENGLISH NAME}}
  • {{update name|ENGLISH NAME}}

For further information, I recommend you on reading these articles about translation swtiching and language translation.

Thanks for your contributions, every help is appreciated!

Documentation for Yossef/Template:TSS

Advice for new localization users on using the translation strings rather than manually adding the translated name.

  • This is because translated names can often change later on.

Note: "TSS" stands for Translation Switch String.

Usage

{{subst:User:Yossef/Template:TSS|1=<Username>|2=<Diff ID>}}

Pictogram comment.png This template should always be substituted!
