Documentation for Unusual Cap owner

This template is used to add new names to the List of Unusual Cap owners.

Usage

{{Unusual Cap owner
 | communityid = Community ID of recipient (17 character long numerical string)
 | date        = Date of acquisition (YYYY-MM-DD)
 | serial = Item serial, available from the Steam Inventory or a third-party backpack viewer
}}

Parameter descriptions

  • communityid is a pre-set profile ID number (xxxxxxxxxxxxx). Required.
  • date is the date of acquisiton of the hat, in the format yyyy-mm-dd (2010-11-04 for 4th of November, 2010). Required.
  • serial is the serial number of the hat in question. It can be found on the user's backpack page on the Steam Inventory. Drag and drop the item into your URL bar, and the serial will be the last few numbers at the end. This field is not possible to fill out if the user's backpack is set to private, in which case leave it blank, and the software will note that the backpack is private.
