Hello! You obviously know me from AlliedMods ''(I'm thatdarnkid)''. I installed your Give Weapon plugin back onto my server on back when you had released the first version of it that could use Visible Weapons. Started my server up, waited a minute, refreshed the server browser....my server didn't appear. 15 minutes later....still wasn't appearing on the server browser. Checked my server's error logs and noticed something about a fatal error, and something about SDKHooks or Attachables not being able to start up. Now, I have since lost the error logs from that day ''(I'll explain why in a bit)'', but I did find this excerpt from the error log that I Googled, in an attempt to see if anyone on AlliedMods was having that issue:

I spoke to my server host about the problems I was having with the server not showing up, and he told me from what he could see, the problem was with "one of those four plugins you installed" ''(SDKHooks, Vis. Weapons, Give Weapon and Attachables)''. So I removed the plugins from the server, deleted all the files completely, restarted my server....and it didn't appear. Checked the error logs again and I remember the error had to do with not being able to find the Give Weapon plugin.

I was just reading...I think the Visible Weapons thread yesterday and noticed that you too had a crash, relating to SDKHooks (I think? I forget what you said it was). That got me thinking; Maybe all my issues were caused by the same thing that caused your server to crash? I would have posted this in the appropriate thread on the forums, but as you know I'm banned (until Jan. 16th). Well there's no use reminding me of that thread. So I apologized? So what. The apology doesn't mean s**t now. The idiots banned me permanently with the reason I stated above ''(seriously, "640 chances should be enough"? How the f*** was I even given 640 chances?)''. Regardless, if you feel like it, you can give them a status update. I've done the following:
#Equip any weapon that has a -## max HP on wearer attribute, such as the Headtaker, on a class that cannot normally use it (for example a Pyro).
 
#Stand in front of a resupply cabinet

One of my admins discovered this glitch and switched everyone over to RED, and kept himself on BLU, and started a "boss battle". He had around 500,000 HP via this glitch. Yes, I was TGFireball. That's all. Once I got banned again as TGFireball, I pretty much gave up on AlliedMods. The forums suck. An admin from my server made an account on the forum as well. He thought if he made an account on his computer, the admins on AlliedMods wouldn't know it was me. Stupidly enough, when I made "TGFireball", he made "TGFireballs". >.>
 
 
 
I did see peroxwhygens post in the Give Weapon thread about the sm_gimme command he made, so I snapped up the code and added it to the plugin and changed the command to sm_weapon, and changed the flag to ADMFLAG_CUSTOM1.

I noticed in the coding of Give Weapon that there is something along the lines of "AddFileToDownloadTable" or something. Currently I'm using SM Downloader to make sure all my custom weapon models get downloaded by anyone who connects. However, it's causing the server to prompt everyone to "download" everything everytime they join. How would I go about utilizing this AddFileToDownloadTable code to add the model/material files to the download table using the GW plugin, instead of SM Downloader? Simply put, the Wiki is useless and so are the forums. Luckily I had extracted the VMTs and VTFs for every weapon from "team fortress 2 materials.gcf" last week, and was able to upload the original (old) RED Fists of Steel to GameBanana. 1. Downloaded the Be the Horsemann plugin
Yeah I figured out what's going on with the server making everyone always "redownload" the Khopesh Climber model everytime they join. It's the Give Weapon plugin. When I did my re-edit of the latest version, removing the Valve Weapons and "customs", I left the Climber in. Why? Because when I made the Khopesh in the custom TXT file and gave it ID 2171, the plugin wasn't giving the custom TXT Khopesh the climbing ability.

I use the SM Downloader plugin, which already adds all the custom models I have on my server to the download table '''and''' precaches them....so....the PrepareAllModels() coding seems kind of useless, especially since SM Downloader is already set up to add the entire ''advancedweaponiser'' folder to the download table. Why remind me of that thread?

Well there's no use reminding me of that thread. So I apologized? So what. The apology doesn't mean s**t now. The idiots banned me permanently with the reason I stated above (seriously, "640 chances should be enough"? How the f*** was I even given 640 chances?). Regardless, if you feel like it, you can give them a status update. I've done the following:

1. Downloaded the Be the Horsemann plugin

  • Changed the coding to use the Horsemann Jr. model from VS Saxton Hale.
    • Created a 2nd version called Be the Saxton Hale, using the Saxton model from VS Saxton Hale.
    • Created a 3rd version called Be the Vagineer, using the Vagineer model from VS Saxton Hale.
    • Have successfully tied in the ability to be given a permanent weapon upon applying the Horsemann/Saxton/Vagineer model.
    • Saxton, in this plugin, uses a custom Fists weapon with the same stats as the "invisible shovel" from VS Saxton Hale. See Sarge, I figured something out about your Visible Weapons plugin. You didn't add in visible models for weapon IDs #190 to #212. This allowed me to make a custom fists model that is invisible and doesn't mess up the Saxton model on the Soldier.
    • Have also successfully tied in the ability to be switched to a different class when applying the Horsemann/Saxton/Vagineer model. Horsemann uses Demo class, Saxton uses Soldier class, and Vagineer uses Engineer class.
    • Am now working on combining all 3 plugins, and even adding a command that allows the input of a model name.

I believe I've successfully figured out a way to enable the usage of many other colors such as item quality colors, and essentially any color from ClientScheme.res. But here's the real kick in the pants. If my method works properly....I'm not posting it on AlliedMods. I'm "permanently banned". So yeah. If all works out, this will be for my use only. And I'll be laughing because I know Psychonic (or whichever half-baked admin it was that banned me) will realize he f***ed up.
