I was never into shooter games so it was just kind of a side thing I'd play if I was really bored, though after a few weeks I started to find the characters' side comments during battle to be pretty funny so I ended up looking more into them. Even with the game's terrible state at the time, the videos and comics were enough to keep me enganged. I even got into some fan content and now I'm learning Source Filmmaker to hopefully make my own stuff some day (thanks Emesis Blue).
