I guess it makes sense that this way, someone who doesn't speak the language can update the passage, but if we're at the point of doing that, we could very well just turn the page into a giant template instead. — [[User:Tark|Tark]] 16:08, 9 November 2024 (UTC)

It does makes sense to automate this part so subpages are up to date, but if we're at the point of doing that, we could very well just turn the entire page into a template instead ([https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Special:ComparePages?page1=Scream+Fortress+2023&rev1=&page2=Scream+Fortress+2024&rev2=&action=&diffonly=&unhide= c diff]). — [[User:Tark|Tark]] 16:17, 9 November 2024 (UTC)

Value?

I don't see much value in this template in its current form. The way it works still requires someone to manually edit the page to add the "ended" parameter. It's not much different from someone manually editing the page to change the text.

It does makes sense to automate this part so subpages are up to date, but if we're at the point of doing that, we could very well just turn the entire page into a template instead (c diff). — Tark 16:17, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
