Watch your back. Or don't! Now it's your choice.
— Razorback publicity blurb

The Razorback is an unlockable secondary weapon for the Sniper. It is a hand-carved tribal shield with red and white paint and a car battery taped to the back. Two wires are shown going from the battery to the shield, held in place with black tape.

When equipped, this weapon grants the player immunity to a single backstab from a Spy. If a backstab is attempted, the Spy will be unable to attack or Cloak for approximately 2 seconds, and will be unable to switch weapons. The player will be alerted of the failed attack by a loud electrical sound, as well as being zoomed out of their scope if they were zoomed in, at which point they can retaliate.

Upon a single backstab, the Razorback will break in half and fall off the player's back. If the Sniper is killed within 5 seconds of his Razorback breaking, the Spy will be given a kill assist. Another Razorback can be acquired if the player goes to a resupply cabinet or if they respawn.

The Razorback is automatically given to any player who obtains 17 Sniper achievements.
