You've been called the idk code guru or somthing crazy like that and I was just wondering how one would go and make a script or out right program that would post RRS feeds directly to steam groups. I am not totally computer illiterate but I lack the language knowledge to do anything of this sort (C and C++ is what I know). Thanks, Meter1060 01:21, 26 May 2011 (UTC) | You've been called the idk code guru or somthing crazy like that and I was just wondering how one would go and make a script or out right program that would post RRS feeds directly to steam groups. :Most simple scripts like that are a good fit for [Python usually, which is what I used for the Steam forums bot and for this Wiki's bot as well. It has a nice tutorial. I can't really teach you how to do such a thing from start to finish, but I can give you the code for the module to post to the Steam forums if you want :3 This is different from posting to Steam groups obviously, since they are separate websites with a separate account system, but it should probably get you started~ — <span style="font-weight:bold;">Wind</span> 01:27, 26 May 2011 (UTC) | :Most simple scripts like that are a good fit for [Python usually, which is what I used for the Steam forums bot and for this Wiki's bot as well. This user plays TF2 with a mouse
Well, good for you. I play TF2 with hands. Your hands. -- En Ex (talk) 05:05, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
[ classified ] link from in-game
Are you able to make an exception on the item redirection script for the [ classified ]? I'll send it over to Robin, so that those that want to see the hat, aren't confronted with a Bad title page. Thanks. – Smashman (talk) 12:53, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- You'll notice that the script is broken for not just that one, but all the Shogun items etc. In short, they broke the cache or didn't refresh it, because my copy of the script still works for all items. I emailed Robin about it and got no answer — Wind 17:28, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
To change
Hi again Wind ^^
- Change "Variantes pintadas" to "Variaciones de Colores" with the BOT script. Dio ★ (talk) 18:01, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- Can you add this words in to the filter? Thanks Dio ★ (talk) 14:22, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- For the Articles:
- Chetos - Trampas
- Spys - Spies
- For the Patchs:
- Arreglado - Se han arreglado
- Añadida - Se ha añadido
- exploit - error provechoso
- Spys - Spies
- Overheal - Exceso de curación
- Done, but I think I see a lot of words that correspond to the same type of error (cambiar, actualizar, etc., as well as the plural version of all those words). But I won't add them until you confirm that it's right~ Also, please give me an example "bad page" to work with next time :3 — Wind 16:39, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, you are right. As BiBi said, it's better do it manually. Don't edit the others (trampas, spies...) Dio ★ (talk) 20:59, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- Arrr, the exploit filter is grabbing ALL pages, not only spanish ones ;(
- here its messing with Polish patch page: http://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/index.php?title=April_14%2C_2011_Patch%2Fpl&diff=500096&oldid=488058
- me sad. - HINDUs 03:42, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry about that :( That filter has been completely removed a few days after it was created though, so it probably didn't do too much damage. D: — Wind 03:43, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

Stuff
From yesterday (or today?):
- All class nav:

was made to suit to special needs. seb makes note – Huge success. The table (row 68) shows fairly significant drops in the post-expand size. When you get online we should test timings to see if it's an improvement.- Ok the dramatic drops are really only visible in row 71. The real page example only uses the /inner template on the Scout layer, the others are unchanged. So it's likely the decreases visible in the row 68 stats are going to be even better when /inner is extended to all the classes ;D seb26 11:22, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
- Hit dis dawk. — Wind 16:34, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
- Test chamber intro vid: the ugly text edges is YouTube D: Screencap from VirtualDub of the original file. What do..?
seb26 11:14, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
- Not your fault, just don't worry about it and keep it the way it is. — Wind 16:34, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
Template:W is broken
There is some weird Template:W going on. Could it be because of this edit? [1] --CruelCow (talk) 13:57, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
- Is already fixed, but won't be visible until the cache feels like refreshing. — Wind 16:34, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
Custom width for Item Checklist
Why hello there, Windy one. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to update the Item Checklist template to include the ability to set a custom width (e.g 500px or 100%). It would be très bonne. MogDog66 t c p || 04:58, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Speelun
Can you have WindBOT correct instances of "Kritzkreig" and "Natasha?" They've been on my to-do list for ages now. -Shine 02:31, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
- The bot should already correct "Kritzkreig" (at least it's already in the filters; please tell me if you see a page with it on it and the bot didn't correct it), but "Natasha" is the correct translation of Natascha in Finnish (Natascha/fi = Natasha). Guess I'll add it to english-only filters — Wind 02:38, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
- The comp Pyro page links to the misspelled Kritz and several English pages link to Natasha. -Shine 02:45, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
- The competitive category is on the bot's blacklist so it won't touch them. As for the Natasha ones, there's only three so I'll fix them by hand — Wind 02:48, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
- Ooooh, kk. Danke. -Shine 02:52, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
CSS edits
Hey. How to make my CSS settings visible for all users? As on your page. For example, other users see broken text in header on my page. - Grand-O-Rand · (Talk) 10:09, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
- You can't. The point of making user CSS is to customize how the site looks for you, not the rest of the users; otherwise, vandals could make the entire Wiki unreadable. What you can do, however, is put all of that CSS into style attributes. My page is a bit special in that it has special JavaScript and special CSS, but I'm not sure we're comfortable with giving that power to everyone yet — Wind 11:52, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
