The Tranquilizer Gun is a weapon in Team Fortress Classic that is used by the Spy.
Usage
It fires a nail that, upon hitting an enemy, reduces the target's running and mouse turning speed by about 50%. This can be used to render completely useless or greatly reduce the efficiency of fast classes such as the Scout and Medic.
Downsides
Being primarily a tactical weapon. It should be used with precision, because of it's slow rate of fire (approximately 3 second between shots), and it's limited reserve ammo, which in addition is shared by the Single-Barrel Shotgun. It also deals a low amount of damage (18 per shot, the equivalent of a crowbar, Wrench and umbrella hit).
