The Hermes is a community-created headwear item for the Scout. It is a cadet hat with the Scout's logo emblazoned on the front, with team-colored goggles placed above the brim.
The Hermes was originally contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Provisional Head Protector". [1]

Bugs
- The Hermes has clipping issues with the back and top of the Scout's head. [2]
Trivia
- In Greek mythology, Template:W is the messenger of the Gods, best known for his ability to move extremely quickly. The Scout's class icon (displayed above the brim of the hat) is taken from Hermes' winged shoes.
- The term "Template:W" is used as a term to describe attacking the bearer of bad news.
