+ | :It is, and it's written in the item description in the Wiki that it's tradable. I think there is a mistake in the "Description" part, maybe it wasn't tradable before it was given on December 21, 2011. Probably the description is not updated. -- ( / ) 10:59, 22 December 2011 (PST) |

What items can be received? does it perform a random drop of all drop-able items? does it just drop regular items? do they also occasionally drop hats? and what about crates and unusual hats? more information will be needed on these presents. RiVenoX 20:03, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
- I've seen one lucky fellow get a Towering Pillar of Hats from a Pile o' Gifts. I would assume the Secret Saxton would do the same. Alphard 14:49, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
- The Hampshire Heavies servers recently had an event where they gave out gifts to celebrate TF2's birthday. Here's a list to the gifts players received: http://www.thehh.co.uk/gifteditemlog.php -- ShunyValdez 03:58, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- I have seen weapons, hat (Triboniophorus Tyrannus) and paint can in Pile o' Gifts/Secret Saxton --Giraf 09:53, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

limitations
I've receieved gifts which would not allow me to craft or trade said item for a short while-- around a day or so. Any evidence supporting this?Atylonisus 00:21, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- post a screenshot of the gift you received. That can be evidence for us to determine if its uncraftable or untradeable.
Reference
Please tell me I'm not the only one that noticed it seems to be a reference to "Secret Santa". Danton 18:26, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
- You're not. --Sushiflinger 15:19, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
Model
The model is the same used for Halloween Gift on Mann Manor. --Giraf 06:21, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- No it isn't. Look at the Secret Saxton image, then at the Haunted Halloween Gift images. They're clearly different. The Secret Saxton appears to use one of the special present-shaped gibs used with "Birthday Mode." Will-T 01:42, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
Giving Secret Saxton to Specific People
It possible to give Secret Saxton to a specific friend even though it is random. All you have to do is just create your own server, have your friend join, open the gift. And by default; you friend receives the item inside. I did this before, has anyone else tried it?--Awesome Weegee 18:16, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- From the Description section 'It is possible to simply join a server with just one other player, in order to guarantee that they receive the gift.' —Moussekateer·talk 18:18, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
Trades possible?
It would seem that Secret Saxton's, at least those handed out for free by Valve after the 12/21/2011 patch, are able to be traded freely.
