:I cannot agree. I earned several tauntkill achievents in one session (although not this one) with this strategy. The scenario I described is on of few that allows you to predict when enemies will be in the tauntkill's range.

Cheating kinda?

"If you have the G.R.U. and Sandvich, then you can stay in your spawn room, let the G.R.U. drain your health until you have less than 150 hit points, drop your Sandvich, pick it up, go to the locker for another Sandvich, and repeat until the achievement is earned." Pulled from the 'Redistribution of Health'achievement. Should we be including tips like this? Methods like this encourage players to be useless. --Flying Pyro 19:40, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

Yea that is kinda cheap, I agree. Why not go the full hog and put 'go to an achievement server' for every one if we're going to put stuff like that in. User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 19:42, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
Fixed. Added a more descriptive and legitimate strategy to obtain this achievement.--Flying Pyro 20:36, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
Yeah I guess it would be nice to have descriptions that only denote the mechanism of unlocking the achievement, otherwise it really is just achievement farming. Turboplant 00:57, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

Re: Permanent Revolution

The guide denotes that you need to be constantly firing bullets with your gun to get this achievement, however the gun really only needs to stay wound up, even in the spawn room for that to work. Also, consider adding the time it takes and change the difficulty to "Easy." Turboplant 06:15, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

Nah, the description only says the Heavy's Minigun needs to stay revved. I do see how it can be interpreted, though, so I went ahead and made it more specific. -- InShane 17:47, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
I do agree it's should be "easy." Just play payload, and you'll get it easily. Leaderboard class soldier.pngJust a Gigolo - (talk) 17:58, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
I went ahead an made the edits, do look over "Permanent Revolution" to make sure it meets wiki standards, I try very hard to adhere to this standard of language. Turboplant 22:40, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Hey thanks to the guy who cleaned it up a little, you're a pal. :] Turboplant 00:53, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
Also, is there a way to clean up those odd spaces between the achieve icons? And what dictates the color of the achievement helper's tab? Turboplant 23:17, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
As far as I know, there isn't much of a way to remove the spaces; it's part of the formatting they've created. The color of the tab corresponds to what is in the "difficulty" slot (Easy, Easy-Medium, etc). -- InShane 03:02, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
Yeah I figured as much. Turboplant 01:46, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Konspicuous Konsumption only working with Sandvich?

I notice this just recently, but when I eat the other two lunchbox items, it didn't count me for the achievement. I tried eating them in taunts and by clicking them. I have up the June 10th patch I don't know what more info I could give you. ==>Yosiel 06:09, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

I wouldn't call it a bug, seeing as the achievement is "Eat 100 sandvichs."
Maybe this achievement actually means what it says. If you are sure it doesn't work for the others, feel free to remove the items from the how to. - 6vKcd.pngnixshadow (t|c) 06:31, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Supreme Soviet easier as of Scream Fortress 2011

While playing Eyeaduct, I noticed that my progress on "Supreme Soviet" was rapidly advancing even though there were no Medics on the team. Turns out, the temporary Uber from entering and exiting the Underworld counts toward the achievement (+2 progress each round-trip). So keep the GRU out (even in the Underworld, it's harder to get to the exit in time otherwise), jump into every portal you see, and you'll unlock it within a few rounds, maybe an hour at the most. --WackoMcGoose 21:07, 14 November 2011 (PST)

Medieval mode

I noticed that several achievements are easier to unlock in Medieval mode. For the heavy, it concerns Borscht Belt and Show trial. (see descriptions) Because all calles but the sniper are rescricted to melee weapons, they must close in to kill the player. Borscht belt is still tricky, as few players play as the heavy in medieval mode. But i think it increases the chance of hitting an enemy heavy with melee before he shoots you. Show trial can be easily earned on DeGroot keep: Simply stand on a contested control point to lure an enemy into the tauntkill's range. With a combination of timing and luck, the achievement can be earned in a single session. Can someone put this in the guide? I do not know how to make this shorter. K-Raider NL 08:25, 26 January 2012 (PST)

In response to all of your talk points (which are about the exact same thing), things related to Medieval mode are not worth mentioning, as the already concise descriptions cover more general circumstances. Additionally, no, taunt kill achievements are certainly not easier to get on Medieval mode, because an aware enemy is an enemy that's going to hit you. -- InShane 08:35, 26 January 2012 (PST)
I cannot agree. I earned several tauntkill achievents in one session (although not this one) with this strategy.
