Should we put it on the article? Seems like people aren't convinced about the rate of fire (yet, it's so obvious...) If there's a better video, tell me. -- [[User:Vi3trice|<font color=#771d6d>'''Vi3trice'''</font>]] {{mod}} ([[User_talk:Vi3trice|talk]]) 23:40, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Killtaunt

From my guessing, the Gunslinger has a killtaunt--DCybertron 01:18, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Ooh, i see. Drop a Combat Mini-Sentry Gun which deals half damage, and use the Wrangler which doubles fire rate. So it becomes a normal Sentry Gun, only cheap, quick and disposable. :D Anonynja 01:31, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Nothing about my find of a possible 2nd killtaunt?--DCybertron 01:50, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Nevermind....--DCybertron 01:51, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Anyone know where the file for this thing is located? Shine 02:43, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Likely part of the Engineer's model. Haven't check though. -- Smashman... (ts) 02:44, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, it is. Thanks. Shine 02:48, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Three Kill icons

There are three kill icons for this weapon. One is the normal punch, one is the taunt kill and there is an additional one for a triple punch. Has anyone seen the triple punch kill icon in-game? -- Pilk (talk) 05:51, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Scratch that I just saw it. -- Pilk (talk) 06:49, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

RED and BLU

There are RED and BLU colour schemes for the Gunslinger. Only a picture the BLU version is up, so can anyone get their hands on a RED picture? Siphidatalk 09:35, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Kill taunt?

Why is there no mention of the kill taunt for it? It's awesome! Or does that not have a place on a weapons page? (example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPVSak_LJwg&hd=1) Curryyeahs 20:18, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Organ Grinder --Vi3trice 20:20, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh thanks, I feel stupid now. :D Nevermind me. Curryyeahs 20:24, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Triple Punch Combo

Does it actually do the tri-punch-combo? Because I went into tr_walkway and tried it on bots and it never did a third Crit punche or have the unique kill icon. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sinic (talk) • contribs)

Glove

I looked at the Engineer model in the SDK, and I saw that the Gunslinger is too big to be hidden under the glove. I don't know how significant this is, but I just though I'd let you know.Gametheorist 22:51, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

That's the point. The Engineer had to... sacrifice a little something to use the Gunslinger. The Neotank 23:22, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
I believe he's pointing out evidence that contradicts the rumor that the Engy always had a robotic hand. --Firestorm 23:27, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Who said anything about always having a robotic hand? :O The Neotank 00:09, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Mini-Sentry deploy time

I see that the initial build time is there, but what about the deploy time? It's at 1.2 second. 1.333 on a frame-per-frame basis, but yeah... --Vi3trice 01:08, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Trivia

-- This is tenuous at best. If anything it's more of a reference to Anakin Skywalker, not Luke, since his prosthesis more closely resembles a robot hand whereas Luke's is made to appear organic. If this is a reference to Star Wars, then it could also be referencing any work of fiction where a main character has a prosthetic hand -- like say, Captain Hook. I removed this line of trivia for this reason. --Aranarth 05:07, 10 July 2010 (UTC) Could be a reference to the Fallout 3 Power Fist. But more resembling to the Fallout or Fallout 2 Fist. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Power_Fist_(Fallout_3) CANPoo 03:00, 21 July 2010 (UTC)CANPoo

Tis annoying how everything is seen as a reference to something..BUT..there are plenty of similarities between luke replacing the hand cut off by his father, and the Engineer replacing his hand using his granfathers design. i still dont think this references anything, it is just TF2 and TF2 makes what it feels like making :D Anonynja 22:09, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Fawlcon PAUNCH!

Is it worth mentioning the ridiculous distances the Crit-punch launches ragdolls? -- MistahFixIt 21:13, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Upgrade and repair

Should it really have costs listed when it can not be upgraded, repaired, or have rockets? E rac 19:58, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

I only removed the rocket part, as it still upgrades and repairs Dispensers and Teleports --Firestorm 20:02, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Ah, but I now realize it could be used on regular sentrys of other players, making rockets replenishable. E rac 20:05, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Very true. I'm glad we had this talk, the wiki will thank us for our comprehensive and groundbreaking changes. --Firestorm 20:10, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Mini-Sentry Rate of Fire

Referring to this video that I've posted on the Sentry Gun's talk page:

Should we put it on the article? Seems like people aren't convinced about the rate of fire (yet, it's so obvious...) If there's a better video, tell me. -- Vi3trice (talk) 23:40, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

You'll hear no objection from me, it's well done :3 — Wind 23:50, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, but that still doesn't tell me if we should put it on the page. I'd rather have the opinions of other people than just my own. And please be honest. Bad experience from DeviantArt. -- Vi3trice (talk) 00:51, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Never mind that, I started working on a new version. Depending on how it turns out, I might do other game mechanics as well. -- Vi3trice (talk) 20:36, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Bug!

The bug allowing the succession Crit to be built up on allies was patched, I'm pretty sure. I moved the line about the bug to trivia and put it in the past tense. --Aranarth 01:43, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Southern Hospitality with Gunslinger

I was playing Koth_pacman today, when the Gunslinger and Southern Hospitality glitch happened to me. I attempted to upload a photo to the wiki, but couldn't figure out how. I uploaded it to imageshack instead, so could one of yall's upload it to the Gunslinger page for me? Thanks
