hat's availability?

• Suffice to say, if you only signed up yesterday and make only a few changes here and there just for the hat, you probably won't get one. It's meant to recognise long-time valuable contributors. 3 Skins

Can anyone confirm whether the hat has 3 skins, a RED, a BLU and a black skin?  – Smashman _(talk) 09:00, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

The Wiki hat will have the normal Blue and Red colours. It can be painted and named if the owner of the hat has a Paint Bucket or a Name User: Worieri 21:55, 1 October 2010.

Possible Reason for Not Having Wiki Caps Yet

I was playing around with it in the SDK Model Viewer. It looks like the wiki cap doesn't attach to its designated bone properly. Valve is (hopefully) working on it. -- MistahFixIt 18:27, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Those of us who knew how the hat would be given out have been reluctant to say for that exact reason: There isn't really an easy and fair way to measure time and effort. If you don't get one it doesn't mean your considered useless. Deciding who deserves it is complicated.
