Discrepancy on Polycount Pin Release

Only eight people have Polycount Pins, yet seventy people entered the competition. Now on the page, it says twice that it was released, once before the 30th, and on the 30th, yet only eight people have them. The Polycount Pin page itself says the 30th... so which is it?
