The Canteen is an action slot item used in the Mann vs. Machine game mode. The Canteen is received by completing your first Mann vs. Machine mission, and once filled at an upgrade station it is valid for up to three uses.

Types

There are currently 5 known canteen types, each with up to 3 uses.

• There appears to be a ripped photograph among the Canteens on the update page, hinting at the possibility of a sixth Canteen type.
• The Soldier in the Mann vs. Machine trailer has a canteen in his poker match against the Demoman and later wears a canteen on his belt at 2:44.
