Wrong User Account?
I notice where it links to the accounts of the creators, it links to a VAC Banned account that looks like it hasn't been touched in a while. Shouldn't this be the right account, since it has the Self Made Dalokohs Bar?

I didn't want to make such an important edit without asking your opinion on this.

Cooldown
Can anyone test to see if the Sandvich cool down applies to the Dalokohs bar too? I don't have one right now. --Firestorm 02:07, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Vintage
I noticed that the Dalokohs Bar in my backpack has reverted from being "Vintage" to being "Unique" after they altered the name from "Dalokohs Bar" to "The Dalokohs Bar" in the October 30th patch. Has this happened to anybody else? It may be noteworthy if so. Siphidatalk 07:25, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Not sure what you mean. Can you provide a backpack link? Moussekateer 07:33, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Check Rarity for the difference between Vintage and Unique. I had one vintage bar and one unique bar but after the patch the vintage one reverted to being unique. Here's my backpack. Siphidatalk 08:26, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Just popping in to tell you that my "The Dalokohs Bar" is still vintage. Serg 08:28, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- That's odd. I'll send a bug report off to Valve later. Siphidatalk 08:31, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

- I still have two Vintage Dalokohs Bars in my backpack. Also, name was never altered. A lot of Unique items have a "proper" prefix. For the Dalokohs Bar, it's "The". When an item is vintage, it ignores the "proper" prefix and uses "Vintage" instead. This means that your old "The Dalokohs Bar" became a "Vintage Dalokohs Bar" after the Mann-Conomy update. If it is called "The Dalokohs Bar" it is not because the name changed, but simply because it is not Vintage. In your case there was either some crazy glitch that removed the "Vintage" status of your item, or you inadvertently lost the Vintage item and had it replaced with a Unique version. I think I found your backpack (is your Steam id the same as your username here?) and I checked your items on OPTF2. The default listing there is by time. The items listed first were found first. It lists both of your Dalokohs Bars as having been received after the Mann-Conomy update. In this case, it is correct that neither one is vintage. I checked the item history at TF2Items and you did have a Dalokohs bar there prior to the update, so that one would have been Vintage. Is it possible you traded the Vintage one away accidentally? -- -- 09:37, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Bug?
Should the fact that a dispenser doesn't heal a heavy back to 350 points of health be considered a bug, or not? I suggest it's a bug, based purely on mechanics; the bar, itself, states that it increases your max health by +50. The Eyelander and delivery man set both state that they do the same, and yet this bug doesn't exist with them; if the bar said that it *overhealed* you by 50 health for 30 seconds, then I'd tend to agree that it is not a bug, but this is clearly not what the weapon description states, nor is it how its handled, in-game.--Fox McCloud 20:24, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
"The Dalokohs Bar, pronounced ʻDah-lock-ussʻ..."
How is there an official pronunciation of this word, when it's... not a real word? It's the Russian word for chocolate reversed. There shouldn't be any official way to pronounce it, unless someone can tell me otherwise. FlotsamX 01:28, 30 June 2011 (PDT)
It's a reference to this video i think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ8h8DbyJPY

Wonka Font on Dalokohs Bar wrapper?
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before or not, but the font on the bar's wrapper looks a little bit like the font used for the Wonka bars in the Tim Burton adaptation of Roald's Dahl book. (In Demoman's voice) See? Wonka Bar | Dalokohs Bar 17:33, 21 August 2011 (PDT)
- Probably an intentional reference, but dunno if it's notable. ==Fax Celestis talkcontribhome 12:29, 22 August 2011 (PDT)
- Definitely a notable reference, if the maker can confirm it. » Cooper Kid (blether·contreebs) 19:00, 22 August 2011 (PDT)
- I know I'm a few years late there, but it wasn't intentional (surprisingly). When texturing the item I didn't even consider the Wonka series of books and movies (which I should have come to think of it). So no, it's not an intentional reference, nor is the font supposed to look like the Wonka Bar. -- Benjamoose (talk | contribs) 01:54, 22 August 2014 (PDT)

Other creator?
The link to Sam's backpack seems all messed up. It goes to some VAC banned person and not this account: http://steamcommunity.com/id/sammunrawr/ Balladofwindfishes 09:29, 24 January 2013 (PST)
- That was his account and the original account the item was given to. He was banned shortly after. -- Benjamoose (talk | contribs) 01:54, 22 August 2014 (PDT)
Dalokohs + quickfix overheal
I'm new to the wiki, but I did notice one thing. Since the July 10, 2013 update where the quickfix was granted overhealing capabilities, it stacked with the dalokohs' added health unlike the other mediguns. There is currently no reference to this in the wiki. Should this be added under bugs, right after the point about mediguns' overheals ignoring the dalokohs' added health, added to the exploits page, or should Valve be asked whether it's intentional or not? JarateKing (talk) 12:34, 23 August 2013 (PDT)
- The status said it only increased the max health after eaten it, not increase max health on wearer. So it's not a bug. Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 12:47, 23 August 2013 (PDT)
- I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. Stock medigun heals to 450 health on a heavy, regardless of whether dalokohs had been used. The quick-fix normally adds half that, so a heavy's health with the quick-fix overheal ends up to be 375. But, if you eat a dalokohs with the quick-fix, the added health and the overheal stack so you end up with 425 health.JarateKing (talk) 14:17, 23 August 2013 (PDT)
- So how would this be a bug than. It seems more like balancing since you're increasing max health for a temporary set of time. It only does overheal based on max health. (iirc) Ashes (talk) 14:21, 23 August 2013 (PDT)
- It's not documented, to my knowledge Valve has never publicly acknowledged it, the fact that dalokohs' added max health gets applied afterwards (otherwise the health would add up to 437.5) and most importantly, it only happens with the one medigun that uses a different method of finding overheal.JarateKing (talk) 14:28, 23 August 2013 (PDT)
- Well its not documented and its kinda important it should be important. Especially stats and health wise. However where to put it is the problem. Ashes (talk) 14:30, 23 August 2013 (PDT)
- It's a bug with the Dalokohs--and I believe this is still an issue with the stock medigun. Overhealing a heavy with buffed max health (350) with the stock should go up to 525, but instead stays at 450. Ditto for quickfix--Should be 430, but is instead 375. Darkid (|) 15:23, 23 August 2013 (PDT)
- Every time I've quick-fixed with dalokohs it's gone up to 425, though I haven't done it in the past week or so but that's how I remember it to have happened multiple times. Perhaps could we get some confirmation? JarateKing (talk) 16:36, 24 August 2013 (PDT)

Strange Quality Cannot Be Ranked Up
Strange Dalokohs Bar cannot be leveled-up. Count stays at 0 no matter what you try. Read this: https://steamcommunity.com/app/440/discussions/0/617330406650783022/ Also tried eating it a 8 health and still, the counter stays at 0. Zorakirby (talk) 12:58, 14 March 2015 (PDT)
