History
The entire Construction Pack began with one model, the trowel. It was made by Seba for Tom 'weapon_penguin' Anon's Arena map, Hardhat, in early August 2010. From there, the idea of a new asset pack like the Swamp Pack began to emerge. On , Seba posted a thread on TF2Maps.net announcing the development of the Construction Pack (then known as the Construction/Destruction Pack). This was quickly seen as a mistake by both Seba and the TF2Maps.net admins and the thread was deleted. A few volunteers were accepted, and work on the Pack started. However, due to a combination of lack of proper leadership and a few other reasons, Rexy, creator of the Mann Manor assets, decided to quit the team. Over the following three months, the Construction Pack was steadily growing, in secret from the rest of the world. In early December, Sammy 'UGLYdumpling' Hallam was forced to abandon the project due to personal reasons; he did, however, allow his assets to be used and the remaining members continued to develop the pack. Missing both original due dates of December 25th and January 10th, the team tripled their pace and, after overcoming some minor problems, managed to release a fully-functional website and installer on January 14th, 2011.
