Retire of Wikichievement

I think the "Lagg Pleaser" Wikichievement should be retired, considering said User does not edit anymore and has even been blocked by his own request. Maybe a new section for "retired wikichievements" should be made so it can still be seen somewhere.

Others suggested that too, the issue is that I mostly undo edits that break policy. A Wikichievement for not breaking policy seems kind of weird to me.

It should be fine to retire the Wikiachievement, but we won't be substituting it with another user's name or anything else.

Wikicheivment milestones

The milestone will be earned if the user unlocks a certain number of Wikichievments. Good idea?

Seeing as the Wikichievements are not automated, I don't think these would be a very good idea. There's not much involved in milestones either, in-game they're associated with an item drop, but on the Wiki at most it would be a glorified counter.

This feels like an overly specific version of photobomb. Photobomb is "for those who upload, tag, improve and add images to pages" which includes paint previews. I don't think this is really necessary. It could/should probably be a userbox though Mediarch ♥ Talk ♥ My Edits 18:38, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

I personally don't see a reason for this, you can specify this as the reason in the Photo Bomb Wikichievement, but its own is unnecessary. I believe that the 3D models project is different, as it requires a whole different setup and is at times more complicated than a simple image render.

I agree with Grampa, as making a userbox isn't really that big of a deal due to the simplicity in making them usually. It just seems like a redundant thing to have given how (usual) little effort is required for making one, as opposed to most Wikichievements being awarded for larger efforts like making your page look good, or contributing heavily to the Wiki. Userboxes just aren't something worth making a Wikichievement for.
