Angry

I usually love these contests. the one i dont enter would have given me a hammer medal.
Oh well theres always next time. M-NINJA 22:35, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

I demand a pencil-behind-ear misc. item for my contributions in the Hat Describing Contest! :) Anyway, lesson learned. I'll def. have to enter the next blog-sponsored contest. ::Scurve User scurve monkey sm.gif:: 23:01, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
Wow someone on the wiki that entered the contest! This contest has to become official first. im waiting for more entries before sending it to valve. M-NINJA 22:28, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Raging on the wiki won't get you anywhere. -- OluapPlayer (t) Howdy, pardner! 23:04, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
Yes it will! It gets you on the Recent changes section. --Vaught 23:06, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram nope.png Nope OluapPlayer is right, whenever i make a stupid post like this, i've been on the SPUF forums to much in that period of time. M-NINJA 22:31, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Raging? And stupid? Sheesh. Kinda thought the smiley face would make the casualness of my remark obvious. Ah well. <333 ::Scurve User scurve monkey sm.gif:: 04:51, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
Don't forget to increase your indents with another : at the end, my stupidity made this conversation confusing to me.
Kinda disappointed I didn't enter in the contest myself, I knew they would give a prize like this, but my laziness was like "I can't let you do that" Nixshadow 05:03, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
Cute idea, but really would only work with a couple of classes with defined ears... Wouldn't work so well on the pyro, demo, soldier, engineer, sniper or spy. Lord Ned 23:24, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
What Lord Ned said. CANPoo 04:22, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
Pyro doesn't have ears, but still wears earbuds. :) --Mar 22:42, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

You all deserve a medal(s)?

ive seen the trivia section point to the forums about the hammer editor from the weapon replacement to the other neat hammer pictures, so should we do like a 4 square picture of each the entrees? (or has it been decided already?) Gamecrazy009 05:43, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

Item Availability

Has there been any word on the availability of this item? I.e. has it been awarded yet, or should the article remain in its present tense? Esquilax 22:39, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

It's not even in the game files yet. User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 22:40, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
Roger that, thanks. Just checkin'! Esquilax 23:12, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Why do we have an article on an item that is a) Not in the game files b) Not officially confirmed by Valve c) Has been 'coming soon' for months now. Someone asked me why we don't have an article on the Pros VS Pubbers Medal and have one on this medal, and I couldn't explain why. Anyone? User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 14:05, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

I don't know how to answer that, but there's always the option of creating a Pros vs Pubbers medal article. For consistency. If I do recall correctly, the Polycount Pin was in the same boat that the Mapper's Medallion is in now: announced by whoever organized the event, not 100% confirmed by Valve, has an article. -- Psychopath User Psychopath avatar.png 14:09, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
But we shouldn't be creating a Pros vs Pubbers medal article, because it's all hearsay and speculation. Same with this. The Polycount Pin shouldn't have had an article if it wasn't confirmed, that was an exception to the rule then. User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 14:13, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
I petition that we bug Nineaxis to get some hard evidence of the item's approval into TF2. That'll put an end to this discussion for sure. -- Psychopath User Psychopath avatar.png 14:15, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
I agree. If he can't (or won't) provide any evidence, we should delete the article then. In case Valve does implement it in the end, moderators and admins can always undelete the article. Smiley 15:03, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
We're waiting on Valve. Robin said to submit it through the Contribute site back when the Artpass was wrapping up. I did that and now it's just waiting on Valve to add it. Same with the other medal. You're welcome to rush Robin if you want the thing to show up in game so it can be officially on the wiki. Lord Ned 01:31, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
Pictogram plus.png Support: At this point, if we haven't any further words from Valve, I say the best is to delete and just keep the note in the Unreleased Content page. (Also I remember an unreleased ETFL medal...)--Kid Of The Century 23:25, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
The ETF2L medals were, as I recall, officially confirmed by Valve. The tournament that was associated with those isn't complete yet, and that's why they're not out yet.
Late, but, there was a thread where someone important said that he e-mailed Robin and he said that they are making a "medal feature" that will allow them to add all the medals they want, including this one. -- User Swordz Swordz.pngSwordzUser Swordz Swordz.png (talk | contribs) 16:48, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Robin neither confirmed nor denied the existance of the Mapper's Medallion, which is better than nothing right? --Focusknock 19:50, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
