A bird seen on Dustbowl
Birds appear in 21 selected maps of Team Fortress 2. There are 78 birds in total[1] which explode when the player shoots or walks over them.
Update History
- Birds have been added to all Valve-made maps.
- Birds can also be seen on one of the monitors behind the Administrator in Meet the Director comics. [3]

Trivia
The birds seem to have an odd connection to the Medic. For instance, the pictures in the teaser Medic picture and the dove on the "Ubi Concordia, Ibi Victoria" achievement.
Amusingly, the birds explode when hit.
