The Demoman on turning while charging

Ali Baba's Wee Booties are a set of primary weapons for the Demoman. They are a pair of steel pointed boots, curved slightly at the tip.

These boots provide the player with a 25 health bonus. In addition, it allows for a doubled increase in turning control while charging with either the Chargin Targe or Splendid Screen, allowing the Demoman's charge to be maneuvered much easier.

Update history

June 23, 2011 Patch (Über Update)

  • Ali Baba's Wee Booties were added to the game.

Trivia

  • The increased turning control is an exploit with the Chargin' Targe; the exploit can be performed using any controller with analog sticks in conjunction with the mouse; both forms of input were accepted and compounded into more significant turning control. Alternatively, a player can simply bind a button to "+left" or "+right" in the console. The June 23, 2011 Patch (Über Update) that this weapon was released with was originally supposed to fix this, but the exploit remains.
  • Template:W is a fictional character from the story "Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves", which is featured in the book Template:W whose name is the inspiration for the Demoman's One Thousand and One Demoknights pack.
