Why remind me of that thread?

Well there's no use reminding me of that thread. So I apologized? So what. The apology doesn't mean s**t now. The idiots banned me permanently with the reason I stated above (seriously, "640 chances should be enough"? How the f*** was I even given 640 chances?). Regardless, if you feel like it, you can give them a status update. I've done the following:

1. Downloaded the Be the Horsemann plugin

  • Changed the coding to use the Horsemann Jr. model from VS Saxton Hale.
    • Created a 2nd version called Be the Saxton Hale, using the Saxton model from VS Saxton Hale.
    • Created a 3rd version called Be the Vagineer, using the Vagineer model from VS Saxton Hale.
    • Have successfully tied in the ability to be given a permanent weapon upon applying the Horsemann/Saxton/Vagineer model.
    • Saxton, in this plugin, uses a custom Fists weapon with the same stats as the "invisible shovel" from VS Saxton Hale. See Sarge, I figured something out about your Visible Weapons plugin. You didn't add in visible models for weapon IDs #190 to #212. This allowed me to make a custom fists model that is invisible and doesn't mess up the Saxton model on the Soldier.
    • Have also successfully tied in the ability to be switched to a different class when applying the Horsemann/Saxton/Vagineer model. Horsemann uses Demo class, Saxton uses Soldier class, and Vagineer uses Engineer class.
    • Am now working on combining all 3 plugins, and even adding a command that allows the input of a model name.
    • Successfully fixed the issue that was stated on the last page of the Be the Horsemann thread. Whoever it was that coded Be the Horsemenn didn't register sm_bethehorsemann as an AdminCmd, and their "check required flags" bit of coding didn't work at all)

2. Successfully figured out a way to allow servers to have and use custom player skins without having the custom skins follow a player until they restart TF2. This of course requires a plugin and a command to trigger the application of the skin (one command for each skin, or a menu can be coded in for easy skin selection), which I've already created after reading over the coding of Be the Horsemann.

3. Have planned out a way to improve the currently-dismal state of colors.inc. I believe I've successfully figured out a way to enable the usage of many other colors such as item quality colors, and essentially any color from ClientScheme.res. But here's the real kick in the pants. If my method works properly....I'm not posting it on AlliedMods. I'm "permanently banned". So yeah. If all works out, this will be for my use only. And I'll be laughing because I know Psychonic (or whichever half-baked admin it was that banned me) will realize he f***ed up.

Side note: I know removing things on someone elses talk page is a "wiki faux-pas", but I figured I'd remove all those messages I left you, as it was becoming a wall-of-text and cluttering your talk page. Yeah, what I was trying to accomplish (and have failed so far) was to extract the actual class MDL's, decompile/hex edit/recompile them under new names (for example "jokerspy.mdl"), and have them use the VMT/VTF files for custom reskins I downloaded from GameBanana (such as the Heath Ledger Joker spy reskin). As for the "Freak Fortress" thing, I've already successfully converted Be the Horsemann into Be the Saxton Hale, Be the Vagineer and Be the Horsemann Jr. I tried combining the coding of all 4 but I realized pretty quickly how hard integrating the coding of all 3 would be. So I've kept them as 4 separate plugins. I will update the Give Weapons plugin though once I've re-edited the latest version. 404 User Not Found 02:03, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

I'm stalking IRC, you don't need to tell me there's been a new update :3 Viewing this thread I see no recent changes made since Pyromania. If there's another source I should know about for changelogs and whatnot please tell me rZ

Making Spy bots disguise

You can disguise using "impulse 2XY", where 2XY is 221-229 for RED classes and 231-239 for BLU classes, so you can make a bot do it too. The Y values do not represent the same values as the "disguise" command so you'll have to figure out which class corresponds with which value. Scriptable like this:

sv_cheats 1
sv_allow_wait_command 1
bot_mimic 1; impulse 232; wait 200; bot_mimic 0

This works even if you're not a Spy, unlike the "disguise" command. I couldn't get bot_command to work but in theory you could use that to directly make the bot take the action. – fashnek (talk·c) 10:55, 6 August 2012 (PDT)
