The Team Fortress 2 Closed Beta is a version of regular TF2 that includes experimental Beta weapons and features that are privately tested by competitive players. These weapons are not necessarily destined to appear in future versions of TF2, nor does their presence reflect the consensus or desires of beta participants. None of the weapons have been given unique models, textures, animation, or sound.


Primary Weapons

Blutsauger Beta 2 Medic 40 150 On Hit: +3 health, -25% damage done
Fire retardant suit Spy N/A N/A Passive effect. Makes the user take 90% less damage from fire. Replaces the Revolver or Ambassador.
Fire retardant suit Beta 2 Spy N/A N/A Passive effect. Makes the user immune to afterburn effects. Replaces the Revolver or Ambassador.

Melee Weapons

Name Class Effects
G.R.U. Heavy Increase the movement speed of the Heavy, but reduce damage done by 50% and decrease max health by 100 while active.
G.R.U. Beta 2 Heavy Increase the movement speed of the Heavy, but reduce damage done by 50% and reduce health gained from healing sources while active.
G.R.U. Beta 3 Heavy Increase the movement speed of the Heavy, but reduce damage done by 50% and drain 6 health per second while active.
P.D.Q. Engineer Cannot upgrade buildings, but improve wrenching build speed by 150%.
Übersaw Beta 1 Medic On Hit: 25% ÜberCharge added, -25% damage done and 20% slower firing speed.
Übersaw Beta 2 Medic On Hit: 25% ÜberCharge added and -20 health. 20% slower firing speed.
