Hello, Maxorro10!

Welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Official Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
    • You can use the Signature Icon.png button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
  • If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.
    • When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User Maxorro10 to the file's name.
    • Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Maxorro10/ to the page title when you create the page.

Once again, welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Wiki!

Slender Fortress

Sorry, but we aren't maintaining a page on the Slender mod for TF2, because there were issues in the past regarding notability, using unattributed (and possibly trademarked) content from other games, and general quality issues. It is discussed in length here. --User LordKelvin Signature.png LordKelvin 10:56, 28 December 2015 (PST)

Your recent edits

Please refrain from making changes to pages that reduce the quality of the article. Your attempts to edit the List of game modes article have resulted in breaking the page, reducing the amount of information given to readers, and have been generally been detrimental. Please make sure you understand the style guide and other related links before committing changes to pages. --User LordKelvin Signature.png LordKelvin 12:02, 28 December 2015 (PST)

User tag

When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User Maxorro10 to the file's name. — The preceding assigned comment was added by Tark {Finish Him!Contribs} 07:04, 29 December 2015 (PST)

Recent Edits (Again)

Heyo,

I'd like to point out a couple things here.

1. User page images, Please name the images properly using "User Maxorro10 <title here"

2. Your recent pages like the "Scout's life" page and the recently translated page. Please refrain from creating pages like that and when translating, please follow the translator guidelines. Also watch formatting as you keep breaking pages.

3. Keep in mind of the posts we make on your talk page, as we have given you a couple of warnings. If you are new, perhaps stick to some very basic edits first rather than making gibberish pages/breaking pages with formatting.

Again I'll point this out.

1. "trade server" page is not needed. We don't need pages based off of types of servers. We had issues which lead to advertising, etc. So don't create pages like that.

2. Recent edit to the Co-Pilot page mainly the image is not needed. We already had an image in place which is better quality than what you had uploaded.

3. Again, if you need a comparison of what it right and what is not, Check the recent changes log and compare your edits to the edits of one of the regular editors such as myself or other users.

Well then i dont understand what i do, every time i try to do something its just not needed or not important. I just DONT understand it The preceding unsigned comment was added by Maxorro10 (talk) • (contribs)

Again, stick it to one page. Our general priority is the improvement of the current articles. Best way to start, try improving the recent update and cosmetic pages. Theres a start. whether that be grammar fixes, missing descriptions of the items etc. Again, if you don't understand we have discussion pages for a reason. Also the IRC is a great place for help. Assuming you jump on when our regulars are online. Ashes (talk) 07:44, 30 December 2015 (PST)

well then what about the wiki cap can i like change the picture to a better one or at least try? And if it dont look good ill take it off im going to upload the picture of the wiki cap in a bit. a better one though hopefully and then you can tell me if its good enough to be uploaded and changed

Generally we don't update images that haven't been tagged for improvements. Current images we have so far are fine. Also all images must be done in HLMV (We have a guide on the wiki for it). In general, don't improve something that doesn't need it. Ashes (talk) 08:01, 30 December 2015 (PST)
Also to note, only user images need to be tagged as a "User image" and named that way. General images don't need to, just need to be categorized correctly (Which is what I do). Ashes (talk) 08:03, 30 December 2015 (PST)

oh coz like i was thinking if the wiki cap pic i made would be good to replace the original pic but you said it dont need reuploading so thats ok. Plus i dont know what i could do to help around the wiki beacouse like everything i do is breaking pages or just not needed. Maxorro10 (talk) 08:05, 30 December 2015 (PST)
