About Me
Honestly, this page is more about me working out the formatting and styles of this wiki rather than me actually wanting to share this. Text is all true, but pretty much just boring filler stuff to make the page look better while I fiddle and edit it. I do a bunch of editing on Competitive related pages, trying to bring them up to date.
Trading
I used to do a bunch of Unusual trading, mostly for fun, but I got lucky a couple of times and did pretty well. Cashed out everything I didn't want to keep, and sold my Timeless Topper collection to flesh out my loadouts for classes other than Engineer. Note: I put 0 money into the game, blah blah blah classic trader spiel, but it's always a bit annoying that people assume you bought your way to where you were and that it's not the product of 6 years of work.
Collecting
I used to collect Timeless Toppers, it's my favourite hat, and I've had 19 of them total. Eventually it dawned on me that I didn't need 19 unusuals that I could only wear one at a time, so I cashed most of them out. I started saving up for a proper computer so I could actually look at my Unusuals in something other than the lowest graphics settings.
Competitive
Founded a Highlander team, and played in Steel UGC. Jesus Christ, we were awful. I was planning to play Engineer, but we couldn't find a Medic, so thus my career as a Medic main was unwillingly born. After captaining a few more Highlander teams and nearly punching a hole in the wall out of frustration, I decided that captaining Open Highlander teams was detrimental to my mental health and started playing on other people's 6's and RGL 7's teams. Came second in the first season of 6's I played and decided I really didn't miss the chaos of Highlander.
Wiki
I am super, super new to the Wiki community, so I'll undoubtable mess a bunch of stuff up (chances are I already have on this page). I'm mainly using this page to get my head around the wiki formatting and all its rules and procedures, because my ultimate aim is to create pages for the custom maps that have been accepted into competitive. Stuff like cp_logjam and pl_vigil etc. I always found it frustrating to google the maps I was going to be playing and only finding incomplete/fragmented/outdated info on these maps. Incorporating them into the wiki seems like a fun project, but i want to make sure I do it right, ergo this page.
