The Feign Death is a Spy ability in Team Fortress Classic. When used the Spy lays on the ground as if he were dead, while either emitting a death scream or remaining silent, depending on the player's discretion. The Spy can look around while using this ability, but cannot move. Looking around while feigning death will result in the Spy's head moving. The Spy body from the feign death doesn't disappear and can be collided with, as with an enemy, allowing enemies to detect the spy. The Spy is unable to stand if someone is on top of his faux corpse, allowing any enemy to restrict his ability to fight back or run away.
Trivia
- The Feign Death ability was recreated in Team Fortress 2 via the Dead Ringer, but works differently than the original ability from TFC.
